Another great LOCAL Edmonton shop perfect for gift shopping! Jewelry (men’s and women’s), scarves, clothing, home décor, cards, random cute knick knacks. Definitely the perfect place for gift shopping! I don’t know about all the stuff, but lot’s of the jewelry is from local Canadian designers.
My fave item they have here… the Gurgle Pot! Perfect hostess gift. If you don’t know what it is, google it!

LOVED loved LOVED the Matt & Nat cork handbags and clutches that we found on a Scavenger Hunt here during the Red Shoe Crawl 124^th street edition.
They have an adorable little doggie behind the counter most days who never makes a peep, so be sure to ask if he’s there to say hello :-)
HARLOW also impresses with great artisan and local jewelry! There were at least a dozen pieces calling my name. I dropped more than a few hints to the hubs ;-)
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and the perfect amount of present — not overbearing at all.
Looking forward to my next reason to return! HARLOW definitely tops my list of retail therapy High Street locations!

Ooooooh I love, love, love this store! It is too cute, full of super cute things. And every time I visit I love it more, and find more cute stuff that I want to buy as gifts, and well as for myself!
(Ok, I will try to refrain from saying cute for the rest of this review)
Seriously though — this is where you should be going to buy all the hostess gifts, birthday presents, Mothers Day love, as well as pretty things for yourself! From vases to scarves, jewelry to home décor, lotions to seasonal spirited items at Halloween and Christmas, crafty cards and luxe candles, Harlow has it all. The also have adorable babies and little kids gifts; things that will really stand out at a baby shower or birthday for a little one (that maybe you don’t know what to buy). Truly, this is a fabulous store — head on down to High Street and give them a go!

I came here recently because I had a $ 10 certificate from the Unilocal Night at the Museum event. I’d passed this little shop many times before when shopping at High Street, but ’cause there’s so many other great shops there, I often find myself short on time. lol Turns out, I’d been seriously missing out. Hugely eclectic inventory, pristinely curated. I happened to show up during the ‘Shop Culture’ shopping event, so I was greeted outside by a sale rack — nothing could get me more excited about shopping. I picked a couple of items off that rack and headed inside to try them on.
As soon as I came in I was warmly welcomed and asked if I’d like a change room started. The service remained friendly and helpful during my entire visit. There is only one change room though, which means there could be quite the wait to get in there if it’s a busier day. I know that a couple of other women came in after me so I made a point of hurrying up and trying on my things sooner rather than later.
I ended up buying some really cozy socks (being a sock snob, I found these reasonably priced at $ 18 for funky patterned super soft knee highs — not on sale) and a skirt that was under $ 50 at half price. Most of the clothing labels carried here are from the UK, many are similar in style to Anthro, but better quality and better price point. I was tempted by some gorgeous scarves that were on sale too… these were nicer and much better priced than the scarves I’d recently been ogling at Indigo.
Aside from the fashion, there were knickknacks, handy gadgets, jewelry and giftware. Extensive card section. There’s even a fantastic selection of off the wrack reading glasses, super stylish.
From that experience I can tell you that Harlow stocks good quality items, that are reasonably priced, and oooohhh so pretty. A wonderful mix of products from near and far that you won’t see everywhere else, beautifully merchandised displays, which make you want to stick around and browse. It’s a perfect place to shop for a gift for yourself or someone else — even someone harder to shop for. Very good promotions and sales to keep you coming back.
