Such a great experience. I was a little hesitant based on the location, but the customer service is outstanding. I’m so grateful I found this little business. Warm, friendly staff with honest information. Small store that lacks high-​pressure sales strategy. I’ll be back for sure.

I have purchased two pieces of jewelry here so far, on two different occasions. In both cases the advice, selection, price, and after sales service were amazing. The second piece I bought was an engagement ring, and we will be returning to buy our wedding bands as well. I was very impressed when the manager recommend me the best ring for my needs, not the one closest to my highest price. I would guess that I saved a good $ 400 on that one purchase. Simply put, their prices and advice are the best. We will be looking at getting some custom wedding bands created next. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This is by far the best and most honest jewelry store we have ever visited. Yes, it looks sketchy from the outside, but seriously, this little store is quite the gem. No overhead costs you basically get the diamond at cost, Lynda and her husband are very knowledgeable and confident and I couldn’t be more happier than to purchase the engagement ring from them. I’m so blown away by their service, their attention to detail, and their passion for what they do.
They do custom rings at a very good price, and they show you a mold of what your ring is going to look like. I wanted to get my fiancé her perfect ring and that is exactly what she got. We price checked everywhere, spence, independant jewelers, all the ones in the mall, and NOTHING compared to their diamonds, they were the only ones that readily carried VVS clarity diamonds, with super ideal cut and color. We ended up getting a super high quality diamond with them and were just so happy with everything, also free life time cleaning and polishing… seriously doesn’t get better than that. I forever will be a repeat customer.

I was nervous to shop for an engagement ring. I hate being watched closely while I look at things and usually feel pressured into making a decision just because I get stressed with many stores’ sales tactics. This isn’t the case here, you can look at your leisure and Lynda and her husband give you their honest opinion. The beauty of the jewelry and craft at this store is noticeably better than any other place we looked at, and the prices are much better.
Not only is the shopping experience very, very pleasant, but the after care experience is equally good. They make sure you know how to take care of your jewelry and make the most out of it with tips and after-​purchase information. I couldn’t be happier with my engagement ring and set and I would recommend that you take any of your jewelry needs here first.

What a great place for finding a beautiful custom ring! My girlfriend and I have been looking for THE engagement ring and were not really convinced by the rings we saw in the usual stores. The nice lady at the counter was so patient and helpful to show us all the possible options matching my girlfriend’s whims :) and we ended up finding a beautiful ring which is a customized version of a classic Tiffany’s design. It fits her perfectly and it was also easy on the wallet. We will definitely come back to get our wedding ring set ’cause they can match any design you like. A well-​deserved five-​star rating, hands down!

Are you looking for a ring for that special someone? Elegance Goldsmith is not your typical jewelry store: it’s in the middle of Chinatown and looks pretty rundown, almost shady from the outside. I think the proprietors also live there, as their DOG barks happily from behind the counter.
However, if you can get past that, you really should step in if you want to give you and your lady a custom wedding and engagement ring set for a bargain basement price.
The shop is run by a Vietnamese husband-​and-​wife team: hubby does the hard labour and crafts all the rings; he claims he’s the main outsourced guy for custom rings from the big jewelry stores in town. So, if you bought something custom from People’s, for example, this gentleman may have made it for you, except you were probably charged an arm and a leg. Wife runs the store and is the jewelry expert to help guide you through the process, show you gems — even take out the microscope to prove the authenticity of items.
If you go directly to Elegance Goldsmith, there’s zero fanciness so the overhead is low, and they can essentially sell you gems almost at-​cost plus labour.
At the end of the day, they made us a lovely wedding ring set, completely custom based on my design, with engraving — a certified Canadian diamond and sapphires with my ring — for a very reasonable price. Appraised, our rings came to four times what we actually paid for it through them.
So, these jewellers are HIGHLY recommended. And how did I hear about this place? A friend of mine showed off her awesome ring and told me about what a great deal this place was with the quality, and I have to say, she was absolutely right.
Go to a «normal» jewellers if you want bling and pay for it through the nose. Go here if you want to make it look like you did, but actually didn’t. ;-)
