DynaLife DX

I’ve been to this DynaLife location twice now, which is actually located in the Baker Centre portion of the Standard Life Building. The first time I went was last year and it was a breeze — I walked in with no appointment on Saturday afternoon and was in & out of there in less than 10 minutes. Plus, the lab technician I had last time was great — I didn’t feel a thing when the needle went in.
My second time was this afternoon. I didn’t make an appointment, thinking that it wouldn’t be too busy on a Friday after lunch. When I arrived, there were three other people in the waiting room. After I checked in, I sat in the waiting area which was clean and bright, with a tv in the corner showing some health — related info. I had to wait about 20 minutes before being seen, but from that point I was done in about 5 minutes. The technician I had today was Hanna and she did an excellent job as well with the phlebotomy. Very good technique — i didn’t feel a thing!
Overall, I would recommend this location to those looking for a lab downtown. It doesn’t seem to be very busy. The only downside is the fact that you have to find parking on the street at a meter (which is expensive and hard to find at times); or find parking at a parkade.
