Crackmasters Windshield Repair and Replacement

Glad I made the drive to here. I haven’t been to other places but the Unilocal reviews were too stellar to pass up. I even had a $ 20 for $ 40 coupon for Unilocal app. Nice. Everything lived up to the Unilocal hype. The owner was nice enough to stay past 1 p.m. to serve us — how nice of him!

I was less than impressed this morning when this little chip in my windshield became a long crack all of a sudden! I heard it and then it streaked across! AARGH! I let out some words…
Through some searching, I came upon Crackmasters. I was actually on another’s review when someone who reviewed the other company said they wished they had gone to Crackmasters… so, I called Philip in the west location. He had a drive-​in day today so he got me in right at lunch.
Right away, he put me at ease — he is kind, soft-​spoken, and explains everything he is going to do. He asked me to enjoy the waiting room, which had his own wifi, while they worked on it.
He said 40 minutes but I swear they were done in 25 – 30. He brought me into the bay and showed me exactly what they did, what I could expect, and gave me some great advice as well.
All in all, even though it’s one of the woes of driving, I feel that Philip is a terrific person to know who takes care and pride in helping his community out as he runs his business. (Also a portion of the transaction was donated to Meals On Meals!) What a guy!

Can’t believe I have not reviewed Crackmasters West before!
I found this shop via Twitter when I tweeted out that I needed a new windshield. Owner, Phil Hawkswell messaged me back within 5 mins, talk about making a great first impression!
I booked my car in for a few days later, I was delighted to learn the location was a few blocks from my office. It was convenient & easy for me to drop off & pick up.
Phil & his team installed my windshield in a few hours & I was good to go. A bonus for customers when you get a new windshield installed is that you receive free rock chip repair in the first 3 months after your install! I really appreciated that they carry the pink autotex windshield wiper blades, which a portion of proceeds support Breast Cancer Foundation. They are hard to find & I was ecstatic that I could get everything done in one place @ Crackmasters West!
The shop hours are great for any type of work schedule, plus open on Saturdays! Phil is very accommodating to clients needs, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you call him for all your windshield repairs & auto glass replacement! Support awesome local businesses like Crackmasters West!

Excellent customer service from the booking through to the installation. The shop and the waiting area were very clean and my car was returned vacuumed and cleaned. The service received here is not often seen today. I recommend coming here for your next windshield replacement.

These guys are fantastic. When it comes to customer service and quality, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced any where better. I have been here twice to replace the windshield and I have not been disappointed. A+ service

After having poor experiences at other windshield repair shops, I decided to try this Crackmasters location. I originally found out about them from Instagram and then read the other Unilocal reviews before deciding to give them a try… and I am very glad I did! I went in with a long windshield crack, expecting them to say they couldn’t fix it, but Phil was so friendly and said they could definitely fix it. He even said they could fit me in that day or first thing the next morning, as he understood it was time sensitive in case it cracked more! They also have free wifi and Netflix while you wait… though it didn’t take long at all. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this Crackmasters location to anyone.

The best windshield repair I have ever experienced. Their windshield replacement prices were at least a hundred dollars cheaper because Phil accurately reports the labour hours. Not only is Phil a friendly professional guy but you can tell he is careful and precise with his work as he even cuts the receipt in half with a pair of scissors instead of ripping it like pretty much everyone else does.

The new owner of this business, Phil Hawkswell, is a great guy who took over this business on August 1, 2014. He runs the shop with his son and they do an amazing job. They have fantastic service and quality work /​windshields at a very reasonable prices.
