PLEASE check eBay or Amazon before coming here. Good selection, BAD prices. Just like that games place by the skating rink, this place will eventually close because of how selfishly they mark up the product just top

I love their collection of various ‘toys’ and such. My only complaint is it is like walking into a hoarders den. There is shit everywhere and hard to move around in.

I stopped in here over the labour day long weekend excited to get my hands on some new pop vinyl figurines and had to stop and stare as I entered the store… sitting there just a few steps into the store from the entranceway was a massive mound of random boxes. Not the neat stacks found randomly about the store that I have come to accept since becoming a customer here but just a mound that made it plainly obvious that it was stuff that had fallen off a shelf that nobody was bothering to pick up. I have no idea where the staff member was as there was nobody at the counter and they don’t wear name tags or anything here that differentiate them from the shoppers. A lot of how willing a customer is to buy something has to do with the first impression your staff makes and how easy it is to browse the products and find what they are looking for. If I was a first time customer here I would have left immediately and not even bothered looking just on the impression the entryway made alone. If they had attentive staff and a clean store I don’t think people would mind paying a bit more to support a small business but these seem like issues that they have had for awhile and I think it is a pity as it is a really fun store that brings back a lot of fond memories of childhood for me.

OK so this place is F’ed up! staff just tend to amuse themselves and are more interested in talking crap than helping customers. There called Collectors Edge however I find a HUGE problem with that. If I wanted something that was to me a collectable item and I find it there, 90% chance that it’s going to be a crushed box, torn box, the plastic is bent, the exposed products are scuffed and or scratched, to me this sure as hell not a collectable item! Trouble with this place is they have too much stuff, it’s to unorganised, over priced and childish immature staff. when they are over charging on many items that can be found many places cheaper YESINCLUDINGEBAYWITHSHIPPINGINCLUDED! this place is just asking to be closed! trust me people, look else where and don’t give your hard earned money to this store!

Collectors Edge is a dimly-lit claustrophobic cave of pop culture cool. It is an awesome place to get lost in — just browsing the hard-to-find action figures and board games. Any toy merchandise that ties in to movies, TV, comics, and even rock music can be found here. Star Wars, Star Trek, Twilight Zone, Batman — you name it. Some of the other reviews here commented negatively on how cluttered the store is. The store is definitely messy but I think that the mess adds character to the place. It reminds of a Sunday flea market. If you’re a fan or a collector it’s great to check this merchandise out at Collectors Edge. .. before you order it from an online e-tailer. Why? The prices here are really that crazy. The other reviews here are not exaggerating on the high prices. There was a Darth Vader action figure here for $ 25 that I got from Amazon for $ 10. The store’s owner or manager replied to one of the filtered reviews here where he stated that Collectors Edge pays extra premiums to stock the rare items and they have high rent costs which are reflected in the prices. Whatever. Their high rent is not my problem. If you’re an impulsive shopper that absolutely has to have your stuff RIGHTNOW, than feel free to pay extra. The fact is, most major e-tailers have free domestic shipping if you’re spending around thirty bucks and always deliver your items in fine condition in a timely manner. Collectors Edge is best thought of as a virtual, 3D catalog that you can step into and check out some really cool toys.

If I could, I would give this place 2.5. It’s fun to come in and browse, and they do have a great selection of toys and games. However, you really need to watch their prices. We’re looking for certain Adventure Time figures and such for our wedding, and they had the plastic sword we need there… for $ 44.95. It retails at other stores, including online, for $ 15.99. That’s a hell of a price leap. I definitely would never pay the higher price for a piece of pour molded plastic. Some prices on things are the same(I’ve seen Star Trek Catan priced the same almost everywhere), but I’ve never seen anything priced lower. The staff are usually absentee at best. If you need something, they can be found, for the most part, but don’t expect exceptional service. It’s also really crowded and very jumbled. It can take a while to find what you’re looking for.

Although this place has a massive collection of stuff, it’s extremely over priced. The store is way too cluttered and you can’t even see the clerk behind the mass piles of crap that’s always stacked on the counters. My boyfriend collects Transformers so he drags me in there every mall trip and I’ve yet to see him or anybody else for that matter buy something from there. I’m not surprised.

This place has to be a money laundering operation. Everything is so expensive — twice what you would expect for a store like this. Nice enough to look around, but $ 30+ for a new release Star Wars figure is way too much.

If you are a collector of action figures, sport cards and other collectibles of this sort then Collectors Edge would be a great place for you. They have every type of action figure you could imagine. Action figures from sports, video games, movies, cartoons, etc. I can’t even remember everything they had. To be honest even if you aren’t a collector you would probably enjoying just checking this store out. I totally enjoyed the sports memorabilia.

This is a pretty cool and interesting store. They have a lot going on in here. If you were a collector of action figure then this place would be your heaven. They probably have it all. They have action figures from wrestling, hockey, movies, video games, action figures from popular comic books, and even Family Guy and Simpsons action figures. They also carry some T-shirts that relate to their items in their store. They also carry Lego collector sets, so if you are like my brother, then you’ll flip for them! If you like Lord of the Rings or Star Wars stuff they have that too. Like I said, this store is pretty interesting so if you have some time it’s fun to walk around and look at all the stuff they have. There’s a lot to look at, also be careful that you don’t knock anything off the shelves, if you have a big bag like me then it’s easy to do so. The guy who was working in the store was a pretty cool, friendly and helpful guy. He seemed pretty nice as he was helping out some customers in the store.
