No change tables in the men’s bathroom. Seriously? You expect the women to change the kid’s diapers? This is the 21st century. I thought we had dispelled misogyny years ago! I guess that now that men are allowed in the women’s washroom, I’ll just go in there next time.

RESTAURANTREVIEWONLY My date took me here on a casual Wednesday night. I was genuinely nervous about where he might be taking me. I hear ‘hotel restaurant’ and I immediately think dive bar or old timey diner. This was neither. In fact I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed my date night. The food was excellent. My date had a steak sandwich and I had a veggie burger, both with cream of vegetable soup. My veggie burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. I don’t often for one, I’m a meat eater, but I took a chance on this and man did it pay off. The patty was really tasty and the perfect texture. It was moist and firm, it really stood up in the burger. The goat cheese and pesto seemed really pretentious but actually turned out to be just nice and mild and tasty toppings. Rounded out with lettuce, tomato and pickle, this was a solid burger that I will definitely return for. I also enjoy a few pints, Yellowhead Lager is a reasonable $ 5.75. I can always appreciate a fairly priced pint. I’d like to give this place 4 stars but their downfall was incredibly slow service. I didn’t mind too much cause I enjoyed an extra pint during the weight but it’s not something I would over look if I were to dine here regularly.

Clean and modern hotel rooms with good amenities. Each room has a fridge, microwave, kettle, utensils and other things in case you have some leftovers that you want to leave for later. The restaurant has pretty good food and a great dinner buffet. And the rates are really good(which I shouldn’t care about because my Edmonton visits are expensed anyway, haha). I only wish that this hotel was in a more walkable area or close to transit, so I can go places without a car. And when I do have my car, I wish that this place had underground parking because it can be bitterly cold in the winter.

Good hotel. Reasonable priced for a new hotel in Edmonton. Awesome lunch Buffett! They should air out the rooms as the smell from the new furniture and carpet is quite strong
