Boston Pizza

Little known fact about this particular location: they have a private room at the back that is great for meetings. There is an automatic 15% gratuity, but a small price to pay for some peace and quiet with a large group.
I don’t normally like to support the chains, but unfortunately there isn’t a similar facility that is available with the smaller, local places.
The service was decent, especially with a group our size. The food was the usual Boston Pizza fare. The meal salads are pretty good.

A friend and I came here one evening for a bite to eat and a beer after doing some birthday party shopping. Being adults we sat ourselves in the lounge.
We were almost immediately greeted by our server who told us about the wing special, took our drink order right away and delivered them in record time! The place was pretty busy, lots of people watching the game! So the quick service was appreciated!
We ordered the new Kale Ceasar salad and a beef dip style sandwich with cactus cut potatoes. We decided to share both meals as we wanted to be somewhat healthy! The salad was surprisingly good! But the sandwich was kind of bland, not terrible, just boring!
Like most BP’s this place is pretty cookie cutter! Service was quick, efficient and our server anticipated our needs. The food was alright, nothing to be wowed about, but nothing to complain about either.

The absolute WORST service I have ever experienced. Over an hour wait for delivery only to receive a phone call that it would be even longer and the ever so courteous «What would you like us to do with your food» comment. Apparently she didn’t think it would be a good idea to call me after 30 minutes and let me know this. This is TWICE this particular location has let me down. Do yourselves a favor and go to any other location but this one. They couldn’t care less about the customers who pay their wages.

Every time my wife and I come here the hostess’ pants get tighter. The first time I walked into this BPs I thought we accidentally entered a yoga studio. Her tight pants combined with the knee-​high boots she was wearing reminded me of Catwoman (the Anne Hathaway version) or Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow. The outfit doesn’t go well with her big ‘80s hair though.
I ordered the 10-​ounce New York strip loin steak with spaghetti on the side. The food was good but it took a hundred years for them to bring it to me. Actually it was forty minutes, but that’s still way too long. On the menu it says that the steak is aged a minimum of 28 days to the peak of tenderness and flavour. When my wait hit the thirty minute mark I wondered if they start aging the steak after the customer orders it. The waiter came by soon after and said that the steak was pretty thick and that it was taking longer than they expected to cook and that it should be along any minute now. His pants weren’t tight.
So the food was finally served about ten minutes later. I was expecting the steak to be this huge Fred Flintstone-​type brontosaurus burger but it actually looked pretty normal. I think the kitchen staff screwed up or we were forgotten about for a while or something. If I can do a 10-​ounce steak on my Foreman grill in ten minutes it shouldn’t take a professional kitchen almost an hour. They offered no apology for the long wait nor did they offer anything like free bread or something to nibble on in the meantime.

This may have been the longest short visit to a restaurant in a while. My waitress was friendly enough and at the end did offer of a reason for the slow service which I had already deduced by having all that time to think.
I perhaps am used to the BP’s locations my brother runs as they are always tops with great attention to all aspects of your visit.
I waited a long time for my drink order to be taken and once it was my coffee and baileys arrived with whipped cream even though she did ask if I wanted it and I said no lol.
Anyway I then ordered a pop to wash out the taste of that 6.50 wasted coffee and waited for it. Then I ordered and I waited. And I waited… and yup you guessed it I waited some more.
I ordered the hamburger and it was good but if you are going to brag about that special sauce you should probably put some on it lol. My waitress asked if I wanted ketchup and mustard and I said yes. And… I… Waited…
finally got the condiments for my cold burger and chowed down. Pretty good burger and while not a hand made patty it was pretty good. Mixed green salad was good as well.
Again my waitress was nice enough but lack of staff made it hard on her and I imagine her tips. Perhaps a manager should step in considering the empty restaurant side. I like the pub atmosphere and the place was pretty clean I must say. As always I shall give another chance but will watch my time accordingly ;)

Got in town late tonight. After reading the reviews of local restaurants decided to try Boston Pizza. I wasn’t disappointed bathe pizza was great. Good quality. Delivered hot.
My only issue was the driver. I asked specifically to use a credit card. The driver comes with a credit card reader that doesn’t work. Then had to go back to get a different reader after giving me the third degree for not having cash. I’m not happy about his attitude.

Normally I am not a huge of a fan of BP, but I must say that tonight’s experience changed my opinion for the better.
Parking is available in the lot out front.
The restaurant is split into bar and restaurant zones. On the bar side, the waitress carded us up front.

Service was unusually slow the day I went, but my understanding was that the restaurant side was backlogged as it was a long weekend.
Wings — a bit pricey at $ 11 a pound, but decent flavour selection. Nothing really stands out though.
Cactus cut potatoes — fancy name for home-​fried chips and dip. Definitely tasty, but a bit pricey.
Steak here is surprisingly good. BP is definitely not the place that comes to mind when I want steak, but they actually get it right. Special mention here.
Overall it was pretty enjoyable. With the whole bright sports theme they can’t really move upscale, but it’s one of the better sports bars chains out there.

Almost always superb. The few (very few) times we’ve had trouble, it’s been fixed straight away without issue. Usually uncrowded at the times I go, which is nice (for me, at least). The staff are super friendly, the food is pretty much what you’d expect at any BP, it’s fast, and the kids and family and I always have a great time. Some restaurants are hit-​and-​miss, but these guys haven’t dropped the ball on me yet.

I received a phone call from the manager of the restaurant after I submitted a comment through their website and via social media. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner as he was away. I appreciated his apology for this as well as his apology for the bad service I received. He informed me he will look into the matter and also provided me with a credit for our bill. It’s good to know that he is a manager that cares about providing good customer service and addressing issues after they occur.

One of my favorite places to eat out with family. Love the way they could customize their menu to serve my vegetarian needs. Very relaxing and courteous staff. Conveniently located and easy parking and good tasty food. Just the right way, I prefer to eat.

This location is conveniently placed in the Mayfield Common strip mall area. There is quite a lot of parking options.
The inside of this location was well kept & clean looking. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Swiss mushroom burger & yam fries which I found to be amazing; the meat was juicy and cooked perfect. The boyfriend had the baked seven cheese ravioli which he found delicious but the portion size seemed quite small.
The server was very polite and made nice small talk each time she came to check up on us, which was at appropriate intervals.
The price was fairly reasonable as we did order an appetizer, two meals with extras and two alcoholic drinks.
I would definitely go to this location again, I had a great experience here.

I go to this location more often than others. The food is always good, I’ve never had an issue. My only issue is occasionally with the servers. It’s really ⁵⁰⁄₅₀. Some are so nice and check on us every 2 seconds, which is nice and annoying. Others don’t even look at you and continue walking while asking how your food is. I do, however, LOVE one of the hostess’, a tall super skinny girl. She is so sweet and polite ALL the time. I like seeing her when I go.
I keep going because the food is dependable. The servers… not so much.
