The best thing about this pool is that it’s warm! I believe it was specifically built to meet the needs of people with special needs. It has a ramp to enter the pool and has cranes to lift people in and out of the pool who require help.
I have participated in recreational swim and aquasize classes here which is so nice because it is so warm!
One down side is the pool is EXTREMELY chlorinated. When I inquired once, I was told that it’s is because of the clientelle they service — again, I think this is referencing those with special needs.
There is an old fashioned step ladder slide for children to slide into the deep end but no real other play structures.
If you get cold in swimming pools, you will be a fan of this place!
