Many years ago I used to work in Millwoods Town Center at the Carlton and always thought 6th Sense had the best hot chocolate so when my current employer asked me to work at our south side location for the day I was looking forward to revisiting and getting a drink. The inside has changed quite a bit and im not really a fan… they used to carry some neat little knick knacks and gift items which are still there but in a more limited fashion… instead now they seemed to have switched over to more of a convenience store feel with candy and chip racks. None of the racks were full when I went and alot were empty which gave the place kind of a going out of business feel. I went in kind of thirsty so I opted for a iced white mocha. I was pretty dismayed when the gentleman at the till informed me they only had one cup size available which was a large. If you only have one cup size left due to running out and waiting for a shipment at least have the courtesy to put up a sign so people don’t spend their time waiting in the line up just to get to the till and find out you have to buy the most expensive size or you can’t have one at all. I was sitting at then end of the bar waiting while he then proceeded to not only ring in the two customers behind me but also make their drinks ahead of mine. I was on my way to the bus and my irritation was growing at this point. He finally came over to the blender and tossed random ingredients into the blender… I say random because not once did he stop to check the amount on anything he was adding. What I ended up with was a drink that had way too much milk in it and not nearly enough ice or flavor. If I wanted a bland iced coffee I would have gone into a busy Tim Hortons. The empty shelves, overpriced poorly made drink, and lousy attitude I got at the till from the man working has killed this place for me… I won’t be back.

Untrustworthy. I had a groupon for this place, and let the promotional value expire(obviously my fault). However, even after the promotional value expires, the merchant is always required to honor the groupon for the original amount paid. I showed them where it shows in all caps that the value NEVEREXIRES but they still wouldn’t honor it. Makes me wonder, if this place is willing to break the terms of a contract to stiff me out of a measly $ 3, what other corners are they cutting to save on food and drink costs?

This is a decent coffee shop located in Millwoods Town Center and it serves some decent coffee. It’s a really small place and I didn’t really get the«café» feel from it but it was good none the less. You can sit down and relax but it’s not as cozy as a Starbucks. It’s a lot more practical to just grab a cup of coffee to go rather than sit down here.

Nice, little coffee shop in Millwoods Town Center. I had some coffee here the other dat and it was great! There were a huge array of flavor condiments that I was able to add to my cup of joe; vanilla, amaretto, and a whole bunch of things I’ve never even heard of! It’s also a great place to sit down, read a book, or chat in MTC. It beats sitting at the food court that’s crowded with(incredibly loud) kids and teenagers. Prices are a bit more than McDonalds, but a tad less than Starbucks, if that gives you an idea.
