Excellent bagels, friendly service, and they have a giant wood oven in which the bagels are being made right before your eyes. As a New Yorker, I am particular about bagels, and I understood that Montréal Bagels are a different style. I was told by my family in the area that this place was very good, and so my travelling companion and I went in search of a good example of the form. We were not disappointed. For other New Yorkers happening to be in the area, Montréal bagels are thinner and sweeter than ours. For locals stumbling upon my review, if you are not getting your bagels from these guys, rethink your life choices.

Friendly service. Place smells great when you walk in and that’s likely due to the very large oven where the bakers make the bagels, visible from the counter. Had the onion and all dressed bagels with salmon and cream cheese. No complaints. Check it out.

This is my go to place for bagels on the West Island of Montréal. They are constantly making fresh batches and offer several different types of bagels as well as danishes, dairy and smoked salmon. The bagels are what you would expect. REAL bagels. Not buns with holes in the middle. They offer plain, sesame, poppy seed, pumpernickel, strawberry, cinnamon-raisin, chocolate, and a few other flavours and they also sell day old bagels at a reduced price. One of my favorite experiences has always been eating a sesame bagel that’s so hot it scalds my hands and mouth… so fresh it hurts!
