Peaches B&B

My very first stay at a bed and breakfast, and I can’t imagine it will get any better than this one!
Nancy and Keith were so accommodating and so friendly from the start. I found them through literally HOURS of research on places to stay near the Tsawwassen Ferry. And finally found them on
. I’m so glad I found them.
We flew to Seattle and drove up from there late on a Thursday night. Keith told me to call him as we approached the border, so he could get little things ready, so I did. We got there pretty much around midnight and it was just the MOST PLEASANT WELCOME I’d ever received. The two are just the sweetest.
We stayed in a larger room downstairs. Everything was SUPER clean (something I was a little worried about) and very homey all at once. They had soap and little amenities ready for us with water and cups by the bed.
Nancy asked what time we would like breakfast at which time we had told them that we would have another guest come join us if that was okay (A’s best friend, who was going to be our tour guide for the day) and that we would like to pay for his breakfast. Our breakfast was right on time and DELICIOUS. I’m not going to over exaggerate and say it was some kind of fancy shmancy 5 star, Michelin rated meal but it was yummy. Eggs cooked my way, toast the way I like it, half a grapefuit, bacon, sausage, OJ, and GREAT CONVERSATION! Did I mention we had a view?
Overall, I found that, for myself anyway, the most important thing about a B&B is that your comfortable. Keith and Nancy Fidgett made us feel like family that had been away for awhile. They are just the sweetest ever.
Anyway, we will definitely staying here the next time we need to take a ferry (early or not) to Victoria Island. The rate was about $ 100 CAD/​night, which was $ 100 CAD more than well spent.

Nancy & Keith Fidgett are the best! They took care of me when I needed a night away from Vancouver as I toured Tsawwassen, Point Roberts, and Westham Island. The rates ran about $ 100/​night including taxes and you get a delicious breakfast in the morning. Great place to stay if you just need to get away or stay over for the ferry.
