Crescent Stables

Have been riding and working with Sue for a number of years. She has always been professional and attentive. Good service from the office and quality care for the horses as well. The Crescent Stables group is always improving their facility.

Crescent has the best facilities in the area. There is the main indoor arena, the covered lesson arena and outdoor arena. All three rings are large and have all gotten new sand mix footing. There is also a beautiful half mile track and grand prix field. There are many excellent coaches available at the farm and is an excellent place for people who want to learn how to ride. The stables focus on dressage, jumping, eventing etc. We even have an owner that rides side saddle! The horses are all well looked after and the lesson horses even get regular alignment and massage (how many large lesson facilities can offer that to their horses?!)
I think that Crescent provides an excellent opportunity to those who want to ride and Susan Thompson (owner) always does her best to accommodate riders, trainers and boarders to be able to succeed in their goals (some time with tough love).
I am a very happy boarder and know that the needs of my horse are always met as are my own needs.

I first found out about Crescent Stables through livingsocial. The voucher was for two 45 minute riding sessions or one 90 minute session. When I redeemed the voucher I asked if it was ok if I used one session and my sister used one session on the same day and she said it was fine. When we got there we signed our waivers then picked out riding boots and helmets. We got our horse ready (brushed, saddled, cleaned out his hoofs etc) and then it was time for the lesson. Carly was so patient and friendly with us. My sister and I hadn’t been near a horse in years so it was nice to have such a good teacher who clearly adores horses! The lesson was fun. I highly recommend Carly! We rode Squirty and he was so patient and gentle. I will be back to ride again.
