The 2 Boy’s Smokehouse Meats & Deli

Everything I’ve tried here is delicious… especially the double-​smoked bacon. Staff are helpful and friendly. Prices are quite reasonable as well.

We stopped in on a whim yestetday on our way back from rainbow haven. Picked up some pepperoni and jerky. Amazing! Stopped in today, got steaks (beautiful, thick ny striploin, excellent marbling) and some montreal smoked meat. Simply delicious! Sorry friendly staff! And they have brisket!!!

We don’t shop here as often as we should. We do shop here when we are looking to get some corned beef, they corn their own and we’ve always been pleased with the end result.
Prices are competitive and often better than big box stores. Quality of product is great. Service is usually friendly and helpful. Often offered samples of products. Can’t say I was overly excited about the donair pepperoni but love their regular pepperoni. Love it when they have the sample of the fried pepperoni & bacon combination, even if my arteries don’t.
You can get sandwiches made up but I have yet to get any but I do love a smoked meat sandwich so will give theirs a go some day.

This place is nommy. It’s well out of our way, but it’s worth the drive for fresh, local chicken, pork and eggs.
Staff are friendly and helpful, if a little hurrying (I always feel rushed when placing my order). Still, they know their stuff and are super efficient. Prices are very reasonable for their high quality products.
It’s worth the effort to avoid the big-​box grocery chains and hit up the small business for all your meaty needs. Their pepperoni is to die for, and when staring in their display case? It’s difficult to not order one of everything. 2 Boys is why I could never be a vegetarian. :-D

Nothing smells better than a smokehouse. As long as I’ve lived here, there’s been a smoke house on that lot, and the smell of it always makes me think that I’m close to home.
I stopped in here to get a pork loin for some pulled pork sandwiches. It was the best batch of pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever made, and I attribute it to the quality of the meat. Service was excellent. They didn’t have what I needed in the fridge, so they had the butcher carve me what I needed. I didn’t mind the 5-​minute wait, because I got to breathe in the smoky smell for that much longer.
They have wonderful pepperoni, delicious beef jerky, all kinds of meats, and some basic food accessories, like condiments, packaged sides, breads and a select variety of dairy products. It’s great if you’re stopping in to get your fresh meat for dinner and need a couple of items to make your meal pop.
They also have a big cart of dried bones and pig ears, perfect for your doggy to snack on, so really, the whole family can profit from a visit to The 2 Boys.

Local meat shop in Cole Harbour Dartmouth, brings great meat to the table. Next time you are in the grocery store think about how good buying local beef from a local company.
They have a small deli section where they make fresh sandwiches. I recommend trying their Montréal Smoked meat sandwich.
The staff were very friendly, the place has the atmosphere of an old fashion butcher shop where you can talk to the meat cutter and get exactly what you want. The eggs they sell are also local.
It’s worth the trip in just for the smell. Smoked meats. Mmmmm. Makes me crave a lapsang souchong tea (a smoked Chinese tea). The store is very clean, meat cases cold and spotless.
