Bloomex

I’ve ordered online through Bloomex a few times when I’m looking to send flowers to someone in another province. Both occasions have been seamless enough.
On my most recent order when they weren’t able to deliver on the date as they had originally promised not only did they refund the cost of shipping but they also threw in a complimentary box of chocolates for the recipient for the delay.
My main gripe with them is I find their prices are a bit on the high side. Flowers typically are more expensive than they really need to be but I find these guys to be pricier than necessary. The only reason I keep using them is for the overall reliability and the convenience of being able to order for delivery in another province. Saves having to find and contact a florist.

I ordered 70 tulips through Bloomex for my mother’s 70^th birthday a month in advance of the date. She received a call on her birthday telling her that there was an error and they wouldn’t be able to deliver her flowers until two days after her birthday.
When the flowers finally arrived, the vase was broken. There were about 24 small toonie sized mums and two white roses in the arrangement. 8 of the blooms stalks were broken, and since my mother lives out in the country, they shipped the arrangement to her via Purolator; so they were delivered overnight without water and arrived drooping and losing their petals. Bloomex is completely incompetent.
They delivered the wrong flowers in poor shape two days late and with a broken vase. What’s worse is that they LIED and reported a confirmation of delivery on the delivery date! Terrible company… stay as far away as you can.
