Like to grab breakfast here on the weekends. Big portions and ingredients are fresh. Very simple and straightforward menu items and friendly«neighborhood feeling» type of service. This is one of the business that will definitely strive after the skytrain(Evergreen line) is up and running. Let’s hope their lease agreements are properly set in place. Glad to have this cozy dinning place in my neighborhood. Go try them out!

It’s a mom and pop type of diner. I had the club sandwich which was excellent. Fresh cooked(not precooked, nuked or otherwise adulterated) bacon. The ciabatta was toasted nice and crispy. Just a yummy sandwich. Fries were crispy. Good size portion. It’s a little bit of an older place, the owner is super-friendly. My only complaint was that the place is cold… there’s portable heaters everywhere but that only kept it from being unbearable.

Waited 15 minutes for my coffee and to place my order but was unable to. never received my coffee or chance to place my order. terrible service so I just left because the waitress pretty much wasted my time and refused to serve me

Yummy breakfast for a good price. The portions are quite large. It’s your typical greasy spoon but we visit quite often. The menu is quite diverse so it’s a good spot to go if you’re not sure what you want. I’ve also been there for lunch a few times, never disappointed.

Found the Plaza Café of Unilocal, with decent reviews. Decide to check it out. A real mom and dad restaurant. Food was very decent and priced well. Coffee was fresh and hot. Other than that, don’t expect any ambiance or much chit chat with the server. Other than the parking lot and sky train tracks, there is not much to look at. I think it has its fans, and that is great. I do think it will not take much to make this place a lot more pleasant. The bright green chairs needs to go first!!!

This place is alright. Your basic greasy spoon. I had an omelette, it was what you’d expect, so no complaints there. The portions are huge. The coffee is fresh. The price is good. If I were in the area and hungry, I’d swing in again but I wouldn’t go out oft way.

I made an account just to review this restaurant. Hands down the best burgers in the Tri City area. Forget Five Guys in Poco, Red Robins in Coquitlam centre, Fatburger by IKEA or any other restaurant that serves burgers. I find their burger sauce, with a hunt of horseradish, to be what puts them over the edge. Don’t feel like fries(which are quite good, and I don’t normally like fries), have the salad. The dressings are very good and vegetables fresh and crisp. Don’t want a burger, they have paninis, grinders, wraps and deluxe style hotdogs. All are excellent choices and also come with fries or salad. I have not had their breakfast yet, but standard diner style breakfasts are on the menu and available all day. If you are looking for more of a meal they have pasta, ribs and other mains. The ribs are the most expensive item on the menu at 13.99. I plan to try them next. I have been there 4 times, and this is now in my regular list of go to restaurants. On a budget? Excellent, most of their food is under 10 $ and very good.

Old school diner atmosphere and the staff are nice. I came across this place because I was craving a good ol’fashion western breakfast, and something better than ihop or whitespot. The food is simple and the portions are huge for the price! Everyone can watch the cooks behind the counter dish up the meals from scratch! Pretty neat, can’t really find these kinds of places anymore.

Just what this neighbourhood needs. A little family owned diner that serves great classics at good prices. Beats Denny’s and ihop any day for breakfast, and the hashbrowns are awesome. Went for lunch last time and had the veal parm grinder. Like a sub almost, on a fresh crusty bun. Couldn’t get enough of the marinara sauce they used. I talked to the owner/cook after the meal and he was saying that he used to run Sergio’s pizza in Port Moody before opening the plaza, so that explains the sauce! Have yet to try it for dinner but the burgers looked delicious. They’re Greek too, so they’ve got all sorts of Greek goodies like gyros. Definitely my new favourite greasy spoon in coquitlam!

I have eaten here a few times now and had several different things on the menu. So far everything has been excellent. I have had the burgers twice. Both times they were great. The burger sauce is very good and the burgers themself are very large in size. I have been for breakfast and I had the trucker’s breakfast and it was alot of food. Three pieces of bacon, three sausages and three eggs. The home fries were great too. My wife and I will definately be back. Oh and their prices of all this food is really cheap.
