Be careful of these guys.
The owner uses sub-​contractors, never gets back to you, and the work done was shoddy (not necessarily because *of* Laurentian, but you can never know what work was done due to they way they farm out all their work).
In 2012, a leak appeared in my ceiling, and Laurentian sent out a guy who spotted a cracked tile on my roof. He said that he used some form of membrane to seal the tile first, then they came back to replace the tile. A week later, the leak occurred once again. I called Laurentian back and they sent out a second guy who said that he went up on the roof and did a number of resealing.
It’s now 2013 and whatever done was done, only lasted a few months, as the leak once again started occurring. Through calling around, I reached Crucial Roof Services, and they took pictures of what they spotted. Here’s the horror story.
The cracked tile *never was* replaced by Laurentian. The sealing done on the tile was shoddy, and there was moisture found on the underlayment (indicating that the sealing wasn’t successful). The broken tile showed moisture underneath — there was no further cause for doubt. I paid Laurentian ~$ 400 for work that wasn’t up to par.
Do not use these people. Call Crucial Roof Services for people who will go up on your roof, snap pictures, show you exactly what’s wrong with your roof, and tell exactly what needs to be done to fix it.
