Foothills Medical Clinic

I had been searching for close to three years for a family doctor in the Tri-​Cities area with no luck. I stumbled upon Foothills Medical Clinic when they first opened and I was lucky enough to be accepted as one of Doctor Ableman’s new patients. I couldn’t be any happier with him!
Doctor Ableman has the ability to get through your appointment very quickly while still making you feel like he is listening, and that you are important to him. He never tries to put you on medication unless it is absolutely needed, and he will go over your situation and treatment in depth to make sure you understand it completely.
There is one unfortunate downside to this facility. The female doctor on staff, Doctor Natalia Konovalova, is horrible to say the least. I have had to see her on three occasions when I was just popping in to the clinic, and I had the same experience with her each time. She is rude, abrupt, shows zero interest in your issue, and shuts down your concerns completely. She made multiple personally ignorant remarks on more than one occasion, and she refuses to even discuss the option of a second issue little own treat it.
I have heard from four other patients that they also had this same experience. She is so well known for her rude behavior that even the technician at the lab taking my blood after my appointment knew exactly what I was talking about when I expressed my shock after the first experience.
I still highly recommend this clinic. The staff are very friendly and it is extremely clean. It is a great addition to the Coquitlam area.
