Como Creek Brewing

Great products, superior equipment, exceptional service.
I live in Vancouver but pass through Coquitlam on a regular basis. I had checked out other wine stores closer to me and was unimpressed with price, their facilities, and customer service efforts.
Dropped into Como Creek one day to check them out and after a tour by Cecilia I decided to go for it and started a half and half batch of cider.
Bottling by myself when it was done about a month later went smoothly and the product (Vinoka) in two flavors is disappearing quickly! Very very pleased with the ciders.
Being able to taste the chilled finished product at time of bottling encouraged me to set in motion two batches of wine, one a Washington Riesling (I went with a premium choice because I absolutely love Pacific Northwest wines and am pretty particular), the other a Pomegranate Zinfandel. (I’m a total sucker for anything pomegranate!)
Five weeks later I returned to bottle the wine and was just as thrilled with these products as the ciders. It took me just 40 minutes to bottle two batches of wine (60 bottles) and away I went. The Riesling is as nice as any commercial ones I have brought home from the States. Extremely impressed with that!
Anton and Cecelia both gave me a hand getting set up with the wine bottling that day and the equipment is really simple to use. The facility is immaculate.
The Pomegranate Zinfandel is a super fun summer sipper as well so now I’m thinking I will do another fun fruit wine and have that one carbonated, and am definitely going to get another of the higher end whites on the go ASAP!

Everything adds up to a great experience here. Happy, helpful, very knowledgeable staff, a clean shop, great value compared to govt prices and popcorn to snack on and fun music to listen to while you bottle!
