Sometimes you walk into a store, spend a fair amount of time, gather a lot of information, then leave and say «I’d like to look around at other stores and may return.» Some stores get really upset thinking you’ve wasted their time. Not so at Broadway Camera Coquitlam.
I went one day and the salesperson was very helpful. He very patiently explained the features of the digital SLR I was considering. When I left without making a purchase he was not upset at all and rather, gave me his business card in case I had any more questions. I returned about a week later and was assisted by a charming young lady this time as the gentleman that helped me the week before was not working that day. She very patiently went through the various lens options I had and the various accessories I was interested in. At Broadway Camera, the staff is very knowledgeable and actually know the products they sell. She was genuinely interested in recommending a product that fits my needs rather than trying to upsell me on a very expensive model that I do not need and cannot afford. I found the perfect fit for my needs and my budget. It feels good supporting such stores where the customer is valued.
As I was leaving with my purchase, another staff (perhaps the owner) thanked me for my business as well. I received exceptional service from Broadway Camera Coquitlam and highly recommend this location.
