Wendy’s

So, my wife goes into the restaurant yesterday for lunch. My wife and her gluten allergy.
As she orders, she asks the girl at the cash for her sandwich (grilled chicken ranch thing), to be made on a tray, no bun, no wheat. Done so many times before.
Girl returns with sandwich in bun. Wife asks for it to be remade and stated «I had asked for it on a tray.» Girl rolls eyes, storms off, speaks to manager, audibly, «APPARENTLY she asked for this on a tray not a bun!»
Manager remakes the sandwich on a tray, as was first requested.
Issue, my wife is already timid enough about asking for some accommodation in her dietary restrictions. And to have staff make it an issue to do so? Shameful. All they would have to witness is one instance of an exposure and they would see that this is not a frivolous request.
We used to eat there when we went to the city. No more. I will not frequent where we are disrespected so outwardly. Only thing they didn’t do, was spit on the sandwich because she dared ask for it to be made right.

We sometimes do family activities in St. Marg’s bay so this Wendy’s is conveniently located for us when coming back to Clayton Park and want to grab something quick. We usually drive through rather than go in to eat; the times that eat in we’ve found the restaurant to have a filthy floor (food crumbs on carpet) and un-​wiped tables). To put it in perspective I have two young kids so my standards for what is dirty are considerably relaxed and *I* am calling it yucky. As others have stated, service is really quick. The problem we have though is they are usually sloppy in putting together your order. If you ask for a change to your burger toppings chances are they will forget it or they will forget a food item or dipping sauce. My advice is to always check your order before driving away! Pretty much every time we go there is something messed up. I wouldn’t mind waiting a bit if they got it right the first time.

There is just something about the speed that the folks at this Wendy’s location can prepare your food that just boggles the mind. Walk up, order, wait under a minute, and BAM there’s your food hot and ready to go. I have been to this location quite a few times (it’s very close to where I work) and so far they have only messed up my order once. It wasn’t even that bad of an error (they put on a tomato when I had asked for no tomato). The place is always near spotless even at its busiest times. They constantly have someone in the dining area cleaning up trays and cleaning tables. On of the best VERY fast food joints in town for sure.

Went in on Sunday at around 1ish. It was super packed, but I was really craving a baconator.
When it was my turn up, the staff was upbeat and seemed un-​phased by the amount of people in line. I put my order in and waited a few minutes before getting my food.
The fries were a bit cold but the baconator was so hot, so hot like it was just off the grill. And it tasted glorious… at the time. Little did I know I’d be feeling it later. haha. But that’s okay. :)
Never had any issues with this Wendy’s location. Definitely recommend.
