Price and quality are top notch but it’s the knowledgable staff who make Dipietro’s the best butcher & Deli in Cambridge. They can slice meat paper thin without shredding, unlike the grocery store where staff just blinks if you ask for a special setting. They can slice Swiss cheese thin… an impossibility at the grocers. With an excellent on site butcher, you can ask questions of staff and they are so helpful. Fresh turkeys for holidays, amazing crown rib roast, special cuts as requested. Our family has shopped weekly at Dipietro’s for over 15 years and never had a disappointing experience. The cleanliness, super quick turnover of meats, fresh baked buns, often still hot from the oven, delicious prepared foods make it a must-shop. Don’t be intimidated by the lines at the meat counters, take a ticket, the staff is extremely quick and your wait will be less than you think… but you’ll end up spending more than you wanted because it’s hard to resist the perfectly butterflied pork chops, the amazing strip loins or the marbled stewing beef with no extra fat… and the prices are always less than the grocery store while the quality is always vastly superior. Best to shop weekdays as it’s very busy on the weekend(& Fridays) because people even come from out of town for the quality and prices. :-)

Over the years I have been coming to DiPietro’s and time and time again Bruno«forgets» to prepare my order. As I travel from outside the city I find it very inconvenient when I call ahead to place an order, am told on the phone that my order will be made, and when I arrive, nothing! All Bruno had to say was he is sorry. Well Bruno, there are plenty of other places that get it right and for you as an owner to offer nothing to your customers other than«I forgot» well, that’s just not good enough. I feel very sorry for the staff who will have to deal with your inadequacies as a business owner in the future. Another customer not returning.
