I recently had my excellent running 2010 Toyota RAV4 car safety checked at AGRT and was surprised that my car failed the inspection on windshield wipers. I told the technician I had just replaced the wipers 3 months back and therefore they shouldn’t need replacing to which he said the inspector observed they were «streaking» and AGRT would not sign off on the safety until I had replaced them to the tune of $ 40. Streaking?! Windshield wipers do that sometimes. I paid the $ 40 but the whole situation just left me feeling like I had just been taken advantage of.
Beware your «streaking» windshield wipers if you’re coming in for a safety.
