Worth is one of the most elegant and well stylised clothing stores here in Calgary. And why shouldn’t it be? The owner has drawn from his experience living the New York and London fashion scenes. This experience is so apparent in his own personal style, the pieces he has hand selected for his boutique and the way he has paid such close attention to interior design details.
His other job so to speak is doing personal styling for «The Core» downtown and he is also a personal buyer for many exclusive executive clients who work down at Banker’s Hall.
With all this experience, Worth then becomes a rich blend of black painted walls, mirrored ceilings, spicy changing rooms and delicious window displays. He even has some of his own made jewellery pieces in the store.
I was really impressed with the clothing, both men’s and women’s, at the leather bags made from a designer out of Vancouver and some bags from a local designer here. His glassed showcase features pieces that are chunky and esoteric, and his pricing although tends to be upper end, you are assured that you are getting the quality for what you are paying for.
Worth is definitely worth your first visit and after that I know you will just get hooked and be back for more.
