Wicker Land Patio & Home

I am on board with Lindsay K. and Sapna G. I was expecting cheesy wicker furniture and avoided browsing Wicker Land because I had a preconceived notion about what would be sold here. I was completely shocked when I walked in, which I forced myself to do a few weeks ago. The fact that some of the walls are covered in bamboo threw me off, never mind the beautiful furniture and accessories. There actually was a table and bench set I would have purchased on the spot had I the extra cash to spend.
There is a lot of furniture here not make of wicker and should you be shopping for patio furniture, this certainly is a place I’d recommend you check for price comparisons. The young woman on shift told me that the Calgary South store is even bigger than this one and the website is also worth reviewing.

Sapna G. and wicker aren’t normally two words you see in the same sentence. And normally, I have no problem disassociating myself with wicker. However I would be cruel, unfair and selfish if I didn’t tell you about Wickerland. This place is an absolute gem in our city and I can’t believe I only just discovered it.
When you first walk in, you’ll be in awe at the sheer size of the place. It is massive. It’s full with everything wicker (go figure) and accents for your patio and backyard. They’ve got everything from fountains, waterfalls, glass fire pits, patio furniture, ornamental accents and they even custom-​make bamboo blinds!
This place feels more like ‘The Secret Garden’ and I desperately wish it was a part of my imaginary mansion rather than a store :)
Wickerland is more of an experience than a store. I know you’ve probably got your reservations about a store full of wicker, believe me, I did, but TRUST ME — this place is fascinating! I promise you’ll love it — there’s absolutely no way you wont.

You know, I’ll be honest when I say I’ve never been a fan of wicker. I mean, come on, it’s wicker! But, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Wickerland one afternoon looking for a basket.
Sadly, they didn’t have the kind of basket I was looking for, but I ended up spending a while jut looking at everything they have. They have o much wicker furniture for inside and outside, I was actually shocked. It was all so nice too. They had some gorgeous patio sets, each with their own different flare.
Each piece of furniture is custom made so you can choose from a variety of different patterns. They have giant books indicating all the different patterns and textures they offer.
Wickerland has everything wicker! They have laundry hampers, baskets, ice buckets and watering cans. They have patio chairs and tables, rocking chairs and ottomans. They even have little wall decorations.
The products all seemed to be a little pricey, but they truly sell high-​quality wicker pieces. The salesman at the front desk was super helpful upon my entry and immediately offered to answer any questions I may have. He must have been a little bored though since he was reading a book when I left.
I may honestly have to change my views on wicker after spending a few minutes in here. The stuff was actually super nice and I was surprised when I found myself saying, «Ooh, I want it!»
