It’s a seniors’ centre mixed with a great music venue/​bingo hall, that keeps stating it is Total Balls.
Nestled away on a quiet street, beneath the red awning, enter the doors to senior bliss, or when I was there, surf rock mayhem.
Wooden floors, no hoops, just painted on shuffleboard courts, bingo counters instead of a scoreboard, and the most magnificent stage with deep red curtains I have witnessed in Calgary.
I want to play a show here!
Bathrooms are kind of indirect from the stage/​gym area and were out of soap & instead were stocked with hand sanitizer.
Aren’t old people afraid of germs? Give me some soap peeps!
