Bad service. Had to wait 30 min for my caramel machiato. Had to ask for it, as somehow it got lost. Was not offered a receipt from cashier. First and last time I buy from this place.

Came in this morning to do a little work before a doctor’s appointment. It was my first time being inside(as opposed to the drive thru). It is really a bright, airy location with lots of window bar seating. There are also plenty of wall outlets to plug in your laptop. The barista was so friendly and knowledgeable — we had a great chat about coffee beans and roasting. For me, this location and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I won’t hesitate to come back again!

I completely love the positive atmosphere at this place. I’m a professional in my 30s and it’s not often you come across such happily employed people working in a service industry. They do their jobs properly(making me a coffee and serving me a pastry) with a happy and positive demeanor. I more feel bad for them because of the customers they are forced to deal with(people who mortgaged to the hilt and believe they are entitled to the feet-kissing worship as though they lived in the real Hamptons). I actually came here to leave a good review on my own, and seeing some of the negative comments, I’m now reviewing this in their defense. Hayden and the girl working there treated me perfectly with a smile and they seem happy to be there.

Probably the worst service I have ever received at a Starbucks, ever. I’ve been there a few times now, and every single time it’s been awful. The baristas are much more interested in conversing amongst themselves, eating in front of you, joking around or just standing there ignoring you. It’s usually dirty, the baristas don’t wear aprons, and I don’t think most of them have been educated on how to properly handle food. Most often I have just had brewed coffee, which even that they have gotten wrong, but when I do order an espresso drink I have had to have them re-make it each time. Once I had to have it re-made twice. Whenever possible I will avoid this location, although sometimes I just need my coffee and I haven’t found another café in the area that had a nice dark roast coffee.

I don’t know what it is about this location but the service is well below what one might deem to be average. Slow, inconsiderate, and lackadaisical. I really try to avoid pigeon holing certain segments of society but my theory is the kids working here have been raised with a silver spoon in their mouths and really don’t care. Daddy or mommy buy them cars, pay for their education, buy them homes, pay for their vacations etc. They are the epitome of the upper end of the now generation. Getting a PT job at this location must be some sort of life lesson their parents are attempting to teach them. Rant over.

A worker was observed opening a bag of coffee with his teeth. I brought up the concern to the employee. The assistant manager approached the employee and the two laughed about my concern. I called the store manager, Melissa Sawatsky the following day. She was very dismissive, patronizing and took no accountability or concern for the issue. She actually used the broken record technique on me and repeated that the grinder was sanitized. She did not want to hear the rest of my concerns. I will not be going to this starbucks again as I do not want saliva of other people in my coffee and then be treated like my concerns do not matter by the management.
