Sheila’s Window Toppers & More

I was looking to buy some Hunter Douglas blinds with the top down bottom up function — originally, I tried Costco, but they didn’t have a consultant to come and measure them in my home, so no thanks!
I did some internet research and found Sheila’s Window Toppers. I called on a whim, and Sheila answered — this shocked me, and when I said where I lived she indicated she could stop by the next day. Sheila herself came by, true to her word, and helped us pick out what made sense to us. What really sold me was when we were discussing the back doors to our home where I said we might think about putting in french doors some day. Sheila immediately said «Then it isn’t worth it getting these blinds here — just go to ikea and get some curtains for now». Anybody who doesn’t try to sell me on every single upgrade and in fact helps me make some budget conscious decisions is just great in my books. She also recommended some lower cost blinds in the upstairs, as they would be black out blinds and you couldn’t see the pattern. I couldn’t believe how she really worked with our budget and made it an affordable and pleasant experience.
The installation was just as smooth. The young man was in and out, tidy, wore all the appropriate gear to ensure the house was left clean, and was very polite.
Great experience all around.

Holy man is the service horrible. Bought a bunch of product and had it installed from here and found out they do not guarantee what’s on their slates since «every production run is different»; oh yeah, and crappy install to top it off.
Try to work things out afterwards right? Apparently not, the owner will become super aggressive.
I’ve been to their website — they are playing off the name of some competitor, a completely separate company who has been in business longer — almost as lame as their Microsoft Clipart business logo.
Wow guys if I knew you were not who I was referred to see I would not have come but then again thats my fault.
Hope this review prompts you to think twice about these jokers. If your home is your castle as it is mine then go and check out any and all of their competitors; not worth risking it.
