I’m restoring a ’64MGB and I needed a hub puller to work on the rear axle of the car. Canadian Tire referred me here to rent one. Tool rentals are free which is awesome. You just have to put down a deposit for the value of the tool. They let you put the deposit on credit, debit, or in cash so if you don’t have a credit card you’re not stuck. When I initially went to rent the hub puller I wasn’t really impressed. The guy helping me didn’t even seem to understand how to fill out the form for the rental never mind being able to answer any questions. Unfortunately the puller didn’t work for my vehicle and I went back the next day to return it. Upon my return there was someone more knowledgeable working. I showed him pictures of my rear axle and we went through a few tools to see what might work. They didn’t have anything that was going to work for me. While the guys advice was«get a bigger hammer» to remove my rear hub at least he tried to help solve my problem.
