Meow Foundation- Spay Neuter Assistance Program

SNAP is an amazing coalition of three fundamental and pet saving communities. MEOW Foundation, Calgary Humane Society and Animal Rescue Foundation.
They believe that spaying or neutering is the only way to end the problem of pet overpopulation in any city and they provide financial assistance to low income families to spay or neuter your cat (s) or kitten (s).
According to SNAP, there are not enough homes for all the cats born, thousands of kittens and cats are put down in Calgary each year because there are too many. Fixed cats are happier, healthier and better pets. At SNAP Spaying and neutering saves thousands of lives.
Prices for females are around $ 110 and prices for the males are around $ 70, you need to apply for their services and they give first priority to lower income families.
This is an amazing programming because from my research today regular vet pricing for spaying and neutering can be two or three times the price.
