M & M Meat Shops

Food is always good and M&M is a great place to get meals. Lots of variety and they have flyers so you know what is on special that week.
My recent experience wasn’t great. The staff member «Daniel» was of no help. I stood at the counter to put my order in and he just stood at the register. Didn’t say hi, acknowledge me or even looked friendly. Another lady came from the back room with boxes and was stalking the freezers. Since I was getting impatient and was the only one in the store, and it was obvious «Daniel» wasn’t going to help me I didn’t want to waste any more time just standing around. I asked «Do you work here?». Yes, I know that sounds funny but wanted to make a point. She looked confused and answered «yes». I said, «good, I just want to put my order in and go since I have other errands I want to run today». She said, «well Daniel can help you with that». I was a bit annoyed by that answer. I am aware he can help but hasn’t the last 7 minutes I have been waiting for help. Long story short he reluctantly helped me with my order. No apology, no friendliness and it was a very robotic experience. You would think I just ruined his day by coming into the store to buy things? He wanted nothing to do with me?
I am basing this review 100% on my recent experience, not the quality of items. I will just go to another M&M since another one is located 5 minutes away and all are privately owned. I have always received great service there (North mount). Sorry Crowfoot M&M’s, you won’t have my business again till your staff can start treating customers better.

I have enjoyed every M & M product I’ve tried, and really like the convenience of reheating a frozen meal from time to time. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. My favourite product is the Chicken Club Pizza; it is only $ 6.99 and has generous toppings and great flavour. It is better than most delivery or take-​out pizza that I’ve had and far better than any other frozen pizza I’ve tried. The Macaroon Madness bars are delicious, but a bit pricey at around $ 14. The individual lava cakes and chocolate chip cookies are an inexpensive and tasty alternative for dessert. I have also tried their chicken, fish, fries, perogies, and spinach-​artichoke dip and liked them all.

I love M & M Meat Shops. They are such a perfect place to buy dinner entrees or side dishes! If I’m ever feeling too lazy to make dinner, M & M makes it easy to eat well.
They have everything from bacon-​wrapped steaks, to party packs with egg and spring rolls and dry ribs. My favourite dinner dish to come from M & M’s is the French Onion soup they have. All you have to do is stick it in the oven for a bit and, voila… a delicious, and simple, soup!
They also have a bunch of desserts to choose from too. There’s one called «Too Tall» and it’s so mouthwatering delicious it’s sure to be a hit among any crowd! There’s also frozen cookie dough for the lazy bakers!
I could go on forever about all the things M & M Meats has, but that would take a looong time. You’ll just have to go see how awesome they are for yourself!
