Kildares is our neighbourhood pub and we spend a lot of time there. My boyfriend and I can be seen there weekly and have been known to be there daily some weekends. The food is fantastic, if you order the nachos make sure you ask for the dips on the side because they put it on top and then the nachos get soggy but the nachos are my favourite thing and best value I’ve found at a pub! I have tried almost everything on the menu and has not been disappointed. The staff are all wonderful. Very welcoming and make you feel right at home. Would definitely recommend going here for dinner and/​or drinks!

Love this bar, great menu and the staff is usually really great too! They have gluten free pizza crust and burger buns which is always nice. Whenever we go in I order the big easy pizza and it’s incredible I highly suggest everyone try!
Also during the summer the patio is nice!

It is hard to find a nice pub with actually decent food to eat in the deep SW. So, when Kildares opened, I was very excited to try it. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside on the patio. They have a really nice patio, so that was a plus.
I got the Kildares burger and my friend got the Steak Sandwich. Both were quite delicious, and filled us up. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the fries were nice and crispy. Our waitress was lovely, and when I asked for a beer recommendation, she not only gave me a great recommendation, but checked up to make sure I liked it. It is hard to find service like that in pubs in this city.
Since it’s a 5 minute drive from my place, and I enjoyed my experience there, I will be coming back for sure.

It is almost mandatory to sit on a patio if it’s a beautiful day, luckily Kildares has a nice patio that is south facing and sunny.

We arrived around 4ish and were able to get some prime real estate for the evening. Our server was awesome and very attentive to our needs.
We ordered some wings (29 cents on Tues) trio of grilled cheese sliders and a mixed green salad with blackened salmon… All the food was super tasty, and even though my salmon was not blackened — it was still pretty good. (They also removed the salmon from our bill — how nice!)
They have some good drink selections and since this particular pub is close to my place I will be going back again to try more of their tasty menu items…

Awesome place.
A friend recommended this place and we thought we would give it a shot.
The Nachos to start… great way to start.
Ordered the Sheppard’s Pie and Reuben Sandwich with the Beef Barley soup on the side. Good stuff. and not too salty.
This place is definitely worth 5 stars.

like is pub. The food is excellent I’ve tried the nachos, chicken sandwich, salads, steak sand and fries and yam fries. however no blended drinks no mojitos. service is decent most of the time. The fish and chips is great. ceasar salad didn’t have enough dressing.

Today was my first time stopping in for lunch and had a bite of the $ 10 lunch menu, food was good and hot. The waitress was very happy and service was quick. Will be back when I am in the area again.

Have been here twice an food is mediocre @ best and quite overpriced. Nice setting. Service was good. Unfortunately the service and environment did not make up for the quality of the food and price.

This was my first visit to Kildares. My SO and I had seen it once when we were heading to Sobey’s in the Silverado area and we made mental note to come back. As far as pub food is concerned, Kildares is excellent. To start we ordered the truffle oil french fries. If a person wants to make anything more delicious, just add truffle oil. I swear it’s this magical ingredient that just enhances flavour all around.
I ordered a fried egg BLT (without the bacon) with a side of soup for my main. The sandwich was good. And the food was relatively fast. What was more impressive, however, was my side. The guiness soup had crab and all kinds of seafood deliciousness in it.
Needless to say, we’ll be back ot Kildares. Overall a very positive experience.

Beautiful new pub in the deep south! Great warm vibe and wonderful selection of beers and scotches. Will be back!
