I just walked in to the hotel without a reservation. I was greeted well. The lady who checked me in have me a decent deal based on my employers tie up with IHG and my last nights booking at another HIEXPRESS. Rooms are pretty decent. They were able to accommodate my request for low floor which was great. The lady who checked me in had good recommendations for restaurants near the area. Overall I would recommend this place. The place has an exercise room with cardio equipment and an indoor swimming pool.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The plumbing in our first room was so loud that we were woken up at 5 in the morning by someone in the hotel having a shower. The next night, I had a reservation for a room with a balcony but was not given one. They said they guarantee the rate but not the room type. The room on the third night(room change required because I had booked a different room type) smelled of a dirty rabbit cage. The fourth night I was evicted because I was not happy that they were making me move rooms again after I had told them that the next two reservations for the next two nights were for the same room type. I was explaining how I had asked for the two reservations to be consolidated when the desk staff refused to speak to me but two of them tried to follow me onto the elevator when I went to go to the room where we had left our belongings. I took my daughter to the airport and when I returned they refused me entry to my room. I was not allowed into my room yet they charged my credit card for the night and have refused to refund it. They also have not returned some of my belongings left in the room.

I always enjoy my stay with this HIE. While the hotel is great, rooms recently upgraded. The girl who checked me in was clueless. She knew next to nothing about restaurants in the area and didn’t even know about promotion with partnering restaurants. As she has been with the hotel for four months, she clearly needs more training for customer experience.
