Yes, they are works to the post hours. Everything else just like any other Good Earth café.

I was working on a dreadfully boring temp assignment in the equally dreadful Signal Hill area for a few weeks, and on my breaks would do most anything not to feel like I was in the midst of a power shopping centre full of yups. Most of the time, I succeeded moderately by visiting Good Earth at lunch. I found that as I frequented the café a little more often, the staff became increasingly more talkative and friendly. When I inquired about Good Earth removing the only vegan friendly muffin from the rotation(pumpkin spice), the owner was great and encouraged me to write a letter to head office, which I did. It turns out that this muffin is removed from the menu for now, but head office did give me a heads up of the few vegan friendly menu items at Good Earth(excluding drinks obviously): Loose granola(use soy milk) Oatmeal Lentil Stew Tabouleh Salad Split Pea & Barley Soup Minestrone Soup The staff also didn’t make me feel like a pain for asking for almond milk all the time, and it even triggered a conversation with me as to why I choose it, whether it is yummy, etc. Since I do not appreciate paying $ 6 for a drink(this, like every Good Earth is expensive obviously), I recommend the Rooibos«Americano,» which is really just a lot of rooibos tea poured like espresso and is fantastic. A little almond milk and I am set to go. Very consistently, I did find this café to carry the Minestrone soup at least a few times a week which is vegan friendly; as is their tabouleh salad. Back in the day at the U of C, the Good Earth there used to keep everything in paper containers and microwave it on demand; I was happy to see this is not what this location does, and felt okay eating it. Even a small soup is a healthy sized portion. Minus one star for not carrying raw cane sugar like Good Earth used to. *Review 25⁄30 of Unilocal 30 Day Challenge 2012

Ha, not really able to write a review for this place, we got there at 9:30 to see the«Open» sign lite up. The hours on the door say they close at 10pm but the doors were locked and no one was inside. if a business is slow and they decide to close early to cut cost I understand. But maybe save a little money on the utilities by turning off the«Open» sign next time.
