Same stinky old cloning gym I used to climb at 15 years ago but now the prices are through the roof. $ 129 for me and my husband to take our four little kids. Sorry is this a ski hill or a guided route in the Rockies? Ridiculously over priced and not family friendly. Won’t be coming back

I like Stronghold. If their location wasn’t far off from me, I’d frequent this place more. Still if I were to have a social gathering of friends both eager to explore bouldering I’m more open to bringing them to this location. I’m a stranger to climbing(which I plan to take this winter) but they have numerous walls of varying difficulties. There is even a cool wall that looks like a cave, I’m not sure if that was the intended effect or not. Their bouldering area is on the top floor. It may not look much but it looks cool and there are enough challenges for both the beginner and the expert. Def a lot of singles mixing up with each other. «Yeah I went up to dead man’s peak and bouldered it up with a buddy of mine. We shared one crashpad and I’ll tell ya, getting to the top was so worth it…” — Pony Tail Chad «Really? wow I’d love to go there sometime» Tank Top Terry Mating rituals. Barf. Anyways their drop in fee is 16 $ and this means getting most out of you visit in one go. I climbed for hours the first time I was here. So much fun. The staff were quite friendly as well: D

You wouldn’t know it, but I secretly love rock climbing. I haven’t done it a lot, but when I have it is always fun. The first place I ever tried indoor rock-climbing was at the Stronghold just of Centre Street. I think one of the reasons I loved it so much was that I immediately felt like I was walking into a community. Everyone seem to know you and they were excited that there was someone new to bring into the fold. Now since I’m not an expert climber, I can’t really comment on the«courses» that are set up, but as a beginner I had a great time climbing. They were easy, but challenging. The staff really seemed like a coherent team and were willing to take time to teach you properly, after all it is their jobs. And if you don’t have anyone to go with, don’t worry. They have a machine that help you climb by yourself! Seems a bit sketchy, but it totally worked! As the winter months get closer and closer, you might want to look into Stronghold!
