I really wanted to write a great review for this place, but in the end it’s going to be pretty average. I bought a Dealfind voucher back in January(well, 2 — one for my mom for Mothers Day and one for myself because it was a great deal). I wasn’t overly anxious to get mine cashed in so I left it for a couple of months. I then checked the place on Unilocal and noticed a number of(now filtered) reviews that mentioned difficulty making appointments and staff shortages. I figured I’d wait a while longer for things to settle down. I made an appointment in mid-August and they told me any weekend appointments were already going into 2012. I asked about Friday afternoons, figuring I’d take a half-day vacation at work and found out they had availability on November 11, which I had off anyhow. I came in for my appointment and was greeted promptly, shown to the waiting room and coffee was provided for me. My pedicure was first. She was very nice, and the pedicure was pretty good, aside from the fact that she didn’t scrape the extra skin off my feet. I didn’t ask because I figured that they didn’t do it at this facility, so just hid my disappointment. But I noticed later on that they do have the equipment, so I’m surprised that she didn’t even offer it to me(it’s my favourite part of a pedi). I agree with one of the(filtered) reviews, though: getting in/out of the area is difficult due to the very narrow steps. They use a vegan(!) and cruelty-free brand of nail polish, etc. called Nubar. Very cool. I don’t often think about these things, so I think it’s neat that they go above and beyond to pick exceptional products. The manicure was probably the most disappointing part of the visit. She soaked my hands(the filed my nails, put on some cuticle cream and then said we’d do my facial first so I didn’t ruin my nails(which I get). But, afterward, she just painted my nails(after my urging to remove some of the leftover polish from my last mani) and then put a top coat on. Something that drives me crazy is when they don’t put some moisturizer on my hands. You just soaked them — please help retain some of moisture? And they don’t. have. UV lights! What?!? First time I’ve ever seen that. My nails took forever to dry. Huge omission in my opinion. And, the chairs that don’t roll are a little awkward to get in/out of, especially when you’ve got wet toe and/or fingernails. The facial was okay but not great. She cleansed, then exfoliated my skin, but the actual«facial» part with the lights and the cool tools took, like, 2 minutes, max. And then some moisturizer, a mask and then more moisturizer. It’s pretty much something I could have done at home(and do, on a regular basis). All in all, for what I paid(through Dealfind) it was worth the visit. But I wouldn’t pay full price for the service I received. (13÷30)

If I only could give this place a rating of zero. First made a booking in June. Got cancelled the day before because they had staffing problem. Booked next one on August 23. Took a day off for this. When I arrived, they showed no booking. Whoever made the appt, booked me in Sept 23 when I had bought flight tx out of town long ago. It’s absolutely waste of my time. I will never recommend this place to anyone. It’s the worst spa experience I’ve ever had.

I had a great day at the spa! I love their new location. Bright and spacious. Service was excellent. I had a dealfind voucher too(an older one for mani/pedi/massage). Initially there was some confusion during my booking since, unbeknownst to me… there was a newer more fantastic promo than mine that had a facial instead of a massage. I was told that thousands of the new voucher were sold compared to a couple of hundred of the one I bought. They did not realize how popular the deal would be, otherwise, they would have capped the numbers to be sold. This place is small, so it is a little hard for them to cope with the volume. For those who purchased the newer deal, please be patient. You will eventually get your appointment. This place is great and worth the wait. My appointment started with Dan for my 30 min massage. OMG! 30 mins is not long enough! He was very experienced. Got all my problem spots really quickly and then worked on spots that I did not know had muscles! It was one of the best massages I have had. I have already booked my next appointment. Dan is definitely an asset to their team. Next was my pedicure. I really enjoyed the stations. The only bad thing was that it was challenging to climb back down after my toes have been painted. The steps were very narrow. I think they were still tweaking the design. Finally, my manicure. I just opted for a lightly colored clear polish. My nails are soft and I find dark colors chip really fast on me. They use Nubar nail products, which is non toxic. I had never tried the product before, and so far… no chipping! They had lots of colors to choose from. On my toes — Seductive Red! They look fab ! I recommend this place for sure!
