Three and a half stars? My trad was warm and tasted funny, the washroom smelled like piss before I even made it through the door. The wings look like wings, no complaint there. Come for the karaōke don’t stay for the beer. Or hobo mike peeling on the bathroom wall.
Everyone here looks like they are enjoying themselves, but I think they have been doing screech shots…

Yep it’s a neighbour hood pub. The day we were in they had no staff on one cook/​manager and one bartender/​waitress/​slot machine attendant. The food was typical for this establishment. Your not going here unless your buddies are meeting for drinks. Not a place for a good meal.

The wings are good and super cheap, but the clientele is a little sketchy. I felt a little uncomfortable walking to & from my table, so I would probably return but next time with my fiancé instead of my girlfriend… this is the kind of place I would come to in my grubby clothes and no makeup on a Sunday with a hangover.

I have to say I like the food here, however we never seem to have any luck with the service. Last time it took the waitress over 15 minutes just to greet us, and waiting for the beer almost made me want to get up and leave, sad thing is, it really wasnt even that busy. I understand being shortstaffed but the least you can do is make eye contact and acknowlegde me :(We most likely will try this place again just not anytime soon (if Im in the neighbourhood)

To me, this feels like a working man’s bar, based on my happy hour experiences. It’s always been busy and kinda loud with mostly male clientele, but I like the energy of it. I’ve only had food here once and can’t recall how good it was, but the service has always been fine. I’m not sure I’d want to stay too late on a Friday or Saturday night (I suspect wee hour cat calling by drunk men outside the front door), but paying a visit here is a satisfactory way to end your work day.

My favourite pub to go to! 7 cent ribs on Tuesdays (with $ 4 pints of rickards), 15 cent wings Wednesdays (with $ 4 pints of grasshopper or traditional) and 10 cent wings on Thursdays (with $ 4 pints of canadian).
They have beer specials on hockey nights, which you can watch on the big screen tvs located in every corner. The staff are great, the wings are the best, and they have slot machines and other fun things to do while you’re there. The ribs are kiiind of dry and not so good but whatever, drink more rickards white!
