This is the best Best Western we have stayed in. In look fairly new. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And it was one of those breakfasts where you could have an omelet made to order. A very nice place.

The rooms are clean and the mattress are decent quality. We stayed on the second floor so plane noise wasn’t an issue. The rooms are reasonably priced for staying in a large city in Western Canada. There are decent restaurants within short walking distance across the street. It has shuttle service to and from the airport.

Very good location, we got off airport late at night, this is really close by. Very clean, and the bathroom looks new. The included breakfast is very good, my kids love it! And there is a T&T and Costco in the area too, we will shop there before going to Banff national park.

I booked my room here on a recent business trip because I thought I should go ahead and get some loyalty points with Best Western. When I looked on other review sites, I saw some nice pictures of the hotel room so I thought I was going to have a typical Best Western experience. «Better days, better days…» This hotel is definitely on the run down side and doesn’t create a good impression from its dingy lobby area and small elevator. On the plus side, the front desk staff person was friendly and personable. He asked me about preferences for room(quiet? convenient to elevator, away from elevator, etc…) and went through the breakfast bar hours and offered suggestions for nearby places to eat(there are not a lot). When I said I’ll probably go to the Denny’s, he gave me a 20% off coupon. So dingy first impression, but saved by friendly service. Also, I will add that while I got the really nice friendly guy, there was another front desk person who was kinda rude and abrupt. She was thankfully helping another person. I just happened to luck out. Rooms: I took the elevator to the 3rd floor. When I opened the door to the room, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. The building itself does need sprucing up but the room was decent. The entry to the room, closet, shower/bathroom and doors look dated, but the furnishings and beds look and feel like they’ve been updated so that’s another plus. The bed was comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. Everything looked clean and inviting. Noise/breakfast: It is definitely an airport hotel so be prepared to hear airport noise throughout the night. It did quiet down and I was able to drift off and get a good nights rest. Thankfully, my flight was not super early so I could sleep in a little. Breakfast is the usual fare and included with your room rate. It’s the usual options of hot food: scrambled egg/bacon or sausage with omelet(rotating options of breakfast 1 or 2 — you know this if you stay in a hotel longer than 2 – 3 days). Then the other breakfast options available are the cereals, yogurt, fruit juices, make-your-own belgian waffles, fruit(apples or oranges), coffees and teas. Parking/amenities: There was ample parking around the building so I didn’t have any trouble finding a spot close to the front door. In terms of amenities like a gym, I didn’t see one and I don’t think they have one. They do have a heated pool and whirlpool, but I didn’t take advantage of it. You can see it in the morning when you have breakfast. There are two computers hooked up to a printer in the lobby so you can easily check in to your flight and print your boarding pass right there. There isn’t an actual store in the lobby but you can pick up concessions like candies, chips, drinks, toiletry kits, etc… and pay for items at front desk. Oh and you do have free WiFi in the room. Would I stay here again? Maybe if I couldn’t get a better rate elsewhere. It is not the top of my list. The main thing it has going for it is that it is convenient to the airport with a 10 minute drive in a car rental or 15 minutes in the shuttle. If you do have a car rental there is a gas station next to the Denny’s where you can gas up before returning the airport.

Booked this place through a priceline«name your price» deal, so saved 37% off regular price. We got a double queen bed room on the first floor close to the pool. This place seems well worn and ‘gray’ on the outside, maybe its the proximity to the airport that seems to give it this ‘gritty/industrial/been around the block’ look. But the inside seems clean and recently renovated(in some places at least). The pool seems a little dated, as do some other amenities around the place, but overall its great for the price. I saved some money by getting this place booked through priceline, otherwise I don’t know if I would cough up the retail cost. This place used to have a Thai restaurant(one of my other reviews) but it has recently moved across the street, so its still very close. If you stay here, I would highly recommend you take a walk through traffic to get to it ;)

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip. The location is convenient if you have a car but I wouldn’t stay here if I didn’t have one. The turn from the street could be missed so be sure to turn at the lobby sign. The front desk clerk was friendly and checked us in quickly. I asked about a restaurant in the hotel but there isn’t one. But with a car, you are within minutes of many restaurants to chose from. The elevator is slow and since it’s just 3 floors, it’s easier to walk up and down the stairs. In the mornings, this is better as the cleaning staff with their carts are also using the elevator. The room is basic and nothing special. I heard my neighbours next door, when they showered, and blowed dry their hair. I did hear planes a few times so this is probably not a good place to stay if you are a light sleeper. The shower head is quite low but you can move it to spray more outward. There is a pool and hot tub which looked decent. The gym however, is a joke. It’s right beside the vending machines with junk food, no decent lighting, and the tv doesn’t work. Also, the ‘gym’ doesn’t have its own door so those staying on the first floor walk right by it. The breakfast was decent with a variety of baked goods, eggs, hash brown, sausage/bacon, yogurt, boiled eggs, and make your own waffle. There’s free wifi and also 2 computers in the lobby if you don’t have a laptop with you. This was not one of my better stays in a hotel but I did get decent sleep.
