Barbecues Galore is as good as it gets for quality, fair pricing and amazing staff. I have purchased all of my outdoor Mallin furniture, expensive but worth it, from the 9th Street Store, and a Big Green Egg. They also carry an amazing selection of «stuff» for outdoor grilling I can always find the basic and the unusual at this great store. Oh and two locations in the city. Bonus.

This store has an extensive show room with all the latest and coolest looking BBQ’s. As well there are beautiful looking gas fireplaces and outdoor furniture. I had some questions about fireplaces and thought I’d see what I could find out. First off the staff were very professional and willing to help out. They were knowledgeable on all the options and had very helpful suggestions. It was nice to feel like the customer came«first» and that they were genuinely interested in helping me.

After my last gas grill went up in a massive fireball from defective parts, and I assessed the carnage, I decided that my next grill was going to be charcoal. I had been doing a lot of BBQ experimentation over the last few years, diving deeper into the southern arts, and charcoal was on the horizon anyhow. It was the logical elevation to my game. The gas-grill-self-destruction was just the motivation(or final straw) I needed! Anyhow, there are the usual places in town where people can load up on make-do grills and/or BBQ supplies(big box stores, appliance stores, department stores). And then there is this place. Barbecues Galore is my kind of toy store, showcasing everything to do with grilling /BBQ I could need. And then, sadly, a million things I WANT as soon as I lay eyes on them! This location makes use of a pretty decent sized showroom, and is well stocked with an impressive selection. But if you look at their website, there is a lot more that they carry that couldn’t possibly fit in the showroom all at once. So keep that in mind. Examples of what you will find here are: – Quality gas grills of various sizes /price ranges – Commercial«catering» style grills – Charcoal grills and smokers – Wood fired pizza ovens – Wood and gas firepits – Patio heaters and furniture – Outdoor«coolers» elevated on wheels(so you don’t need to stoop to snag your beer out of ice) – Tons of accessories, like rib racks, and stainless skewers – Great selection of cookbooks – Lots of unique sauces and rubs Etc! I actually find the culture of this company to be pretty good natured, and representative of what back yard fun is all about. It spills over to some humor on their website, and especially in their monthly newsletter.(BTW: the newsletter is worth subscribing to, for the events and recipes it passes along). My experience with Barbecues Galore has been positive, having no issues with my purchases thus far. So as of now, I have not needed to test their policies around returns/repairs/replacements. I am scoring on what I know, and have seen — and that has been no cause for a deduction.
