This gym is located in the Currie Barracks, and follows a bootcamp style. The 1 hour workout starts with stretch-at-your-own-pace, followed by a barbell segment, followed by a long round of rotating stations set up to work different areas, e.g. Medicine ball throw downs, battle ropes, skipping, weighed sled push, etc. The workout is pretty intense, and I like the barbells(not many bootcamps do this). My chief complaint is that are too many people doing the various exercises for the one instructor(never had the namesake Aaron) to motivate and ensure people are using proper form. I went to this gym shortly after a Groupon promotion, so it may be that normally it isn’t so crowded and slightly discombobulated, and so would feel more personal. Try it out, as your mileage may vary during regular sessions, especially if you want to try one of the specialized sessions like the 30 minute cardio, or the abs melter.
