What a great charity organization that, amongst its many other duties, issues the handicapped parking passes, for $ 20 and obviously if you have to drive someone around with a mobility issue (not disability ;)), then it’s worth applying for. Now my dad doesn’t have to feel so rushed when he gets out of the car whenever I drop him off at the malls, Safeway, etc.
Went to our family physician, signed the necessary paperwork, then drive straight up to their office by the Delta hotel, and pay anything but cash, and voila, you get the permit to hang by the mirror.
It’s also good for all of the states too. Good for 3 years.
The building’s a bit tough to find, address not well placed; across from Regency Medical Supplies, 1 block west of Willingdon.
