The most important reason for a successful business is to have good communication skills. She did not have a good attitude from the minute we entered. She was very hesitant and annoyed when my friend asked her to remove her Shellac manicure because she did not like it. She said I won’t remove it because you did not pay me $ 35 for shellac and bought a deal! Finally after we got very upset, she only put the shellac remover on my friend’s fingers and we left. I refused to shellac after I saw how bad my friend’s shellac turned out. However my friend paid for the Shellac anyways. Don’t waste your time here.

Came her with a Teambuy groupon for a shellac manicure — I was definitely impressed! Jennie did a great job on my nails and despite the fact that yes, this is an operation ran out of someone’s basement, I didn’t feel at any point in time unsafe. Even though this was a fairly low-​key operation, when I stepped in it was clean and did not reek of the characteristic fumes you’d associate with places at a similar price point (sorry Nails by Jenny — looking at you).
To the other reviewer who rated this place low and brought a friend since it was a basement establishment — if you’re paranoid enough to bring a friend, yet willing to go to a spa ran out of someone’s basement either way…
Errant Unilocal review aside, I was surprised at how fast Jennie was! Whereas a regular manicure at any other place might take an hour, she got my shellac manicure done in about 30 mins. without being sloppy. Did not feel rushed even if I was her last client for the day. Prices are pretty good for the quality of work you get!
Not a huge deal, but I did notice that she doesn’t wrap the tips of your nails. Despite that though, my shellac mani is almost 2 weeks old and hasn’t shown any wear and tear around the edges.

When a specialist opens shop and advertises their services publicly on a business website and then uses the words «uncomfortable» and «nervous», you get the hell outta there!
Being that the spa was at a basement and as my first time, I brought a friend. Jeannie asked her to go somewhere and pick me up when im done. Her exact words were «I dont feel comfortable when someone watches me and I get nervous».
I then jetted and told her that I am uncomfortable with that.
Unfortunately I cannot review on her actual services since she scared me away before getting started.

I went here today for the first time. Jeannie was very hospitable allowing my 4 yr old daughter to play with get daughter while I got my waxing done. She was knowledgeable and helpful. It actually hurt less than the previous place I went to. I’d definitely go there again. The price was also great. Exactly what I was looking for.
