Family Laundromat

After going to this laundromat for just 4 weeks, I’m not going back.
My first complaint is the fact that I couldn’t ask for assistance without the manager giving me grief. If at anytime I needed assistance with something, I received as much of a lecture as I did assistance.
The manager can’t speak English very well, in fact I was once at the laundromat when another customer was asking him for help and the conversation ended with the manager saying «sorry, my English, I don’t understand…» I figured out quickly that I was on my own because A — the manager could barely understand me, and B — he gave me hell for asking in the first place. The irony is he will probably never read this review because he won’t understand the words, lol.
Today was the final straw. I arrived at the laundromat after hauling 30lbs. of laundry (I don’t have a car) and they were closed! There was a sign in the window — «closed for family matters, sorry for any inconvenience.» Inconvenience indeed! Hey Family Laundromat, is that why you call yourselves family laundromat? Because you only hire your own family members so when something goes wrong you have no employees to cover your responsibilities? Either that or they meant Family Matters the TV show? Perhaps there was a special on that they just couldn’t miss. Hopefully they had subtitles/​translations.
By the way, this is not the first time I have noticed them closed during open hours.
Sorry to be so harsh, but I’m not impressed. This establishment needs improvement.
