Fantastic array of homemade meats… I just stopped in for a peek and was astonished to find that Butcher Boy has over a million different types of dry sausages, cured hams and bacons in cases and hanging from the ceilings. Okay, not quite a million, but many many different types of meats that they obviously blend, smoke and cure themselves. The place was buzzing with activity on a Sunday at noon, with everyone(but me) speaking in an Eastern European language… not sure which language and I didn’t hang out long enough to speak to them and find out the origins. But it would definitely be worthwhile to spend some time here and buy a couple of different meats to try. They also have a wide and varied selection of canned and packaged European delicacies, and cheeses and breads and pastries. Next time I go there, I will definitely bring some cash to spend on dried meats, and I’ll also bring my camera because the meats hanging and the lighting seemed like a fantastic photo op!
