The best spicy fish burger ever! Burger king takes fast food to the next level. Wish that there were more BK locations around. Portions are larger and taste like real food vs other fast food chains.

This has gotta be the worst run Burger King ever. Every time I go to the food court at Metrotown there’s a 10 – 15 person long line up here. What is the issue? Do they not know how to schedule an extra person? Who wants to wait 20 minutes to order«fast food»? Today I waited almost 10 min, and the line up didn’t even move. Eventually I left and went over to Opa Souvlaki, which also had a line up but was moving really fast. I ordered and received my food in less than 5 min. I love BK veggie burgers, but this location is a complete shit show.

I was here last weekend to order some burgers and 10 pc nuggets. Chicken nuggets were cheap for $ 1.99 and so tasty that I went back on thursday night. Service was incredibly slow. I was one of the 6 – 7 people in a line up and waited forever to get my nuggets. Service is hit and miss here. I didn’t go through this the last time I went to Burger King. Waited so long just to get dry, cold and overcooked nuggets. Plus the nuggets comes with 2 dipping sauce with the purchase not 1. Rather spend my money at McD.

Burger King has attempted to copy the Big Mac in the form of their Big King burger. All they managed to prove is that McD’s rules. The Big King is bland and left me with an unpleasant, heavy gut feeling. On the plus side, a combo is $ 5.00. But considering that it left me unsatisfied, I wished I had spent a few extra bucks anywhere else in the food court.

Ah there was a time when I worked for this chain. Back then I had the employee discount. After I moved on, it was not till another 5 years before stepped into the chain and the menu changed on me that I almost did not recognize it. The chicken sandwich is one of those classics that have been around forever. Currently, there is a promotion at 2 for $ 5. Hence, I decided to order the chicken sandwich combo to share with my mom. Service was fast despite the long line up. At $ 8.04 after taxes, my chicken sandwich was lukewarm, but my fries were piping hot. Overall, okay meal. The chicken could have been microwaved a little longer.

There is nothing that stands out about this location. I only come here on Whopper Wednesdays or when I have an Entertainment BOGO coupon. Service, like all fast food chains with minors or young teens working at, is hit and miss. They used to have a trial of their thick fries, looks like they got rid of them. I particularly enjoyed them. However, this location like most BK locations microwave their burgers before placing in the bun and making your burger. You can definitely taste the difference. The patties are almost always luke warm at best. Everytime I eat at BK, I feel guilty and somewhat ill to my stomach. Yet, every once in a while, I cave-in and abuse my body and come here to order a burger [again].

This place needs better process and training. I’ve repeatedly seen workers stack up orders until they have overburdened themselves with fulfilling them, then walk in circles, bounce off each other, trying to process what they’ve taken in. Food stays up in the holders for very long times – especially on Whopper Wednesday, and I’ve seen people pick up a burger, turn in a circle, then put it back down and take another customer’s order! It’s frustrating to try and make an order here – sometimes the person whose order was taken two people after you are walking away while your burger sits cooling down and the counter clerk taking more and more orders. I don’t blame the employees in this, I think that they haven’t been properly trained and had the process properly explained to them. But the lines grow very long sometimes and the workers get more and more frustrated because they don’t know what to do. Customers are frequently joking amongst themselves about the inefficiency of the order fulfillment.

There King deals are awesome! 10 menu items for $ 1.38! If you have a coupon, it’s even better! Buy one get 1 for any of their full sized sandwiches! We got 4 large sandwiches, tax in, for a mere $ 8.50! Great when you’re feeling like making your dollar go a little further!

Typical food court setting, long lineups during lunch & dinner time. Obviously sucks there’s no drive thru in burnaby.
