Drinks can be really good sometimes … but it depends on who is working. Should be more consistent!

Best shaved/snow ice in town! Truly a hidden gem, my favourite is actually the matcha yoghurt snow ice.

Almost a year later, and we are still loving this place! They now have ice cream parfaits and yummy dessert bowls! I love the grass jelly bowl, and the durian parfait(OMG). It is worth all the money because the serving size is enough for both my husband and I to share(and I have a HUGE appetite). They also make their taro mocha from scratch! seriously so good.

My go-to bubble tea café in north burnaby. I love to come here and grab a fresh mango yuzu drink and then go up to burnaby mountain for a relaxing day trip. It’s still probably a neighbourhood gem, but I would say it definitely beats driving all the way to richmond for a fresh mango drink. One word of advice though — stick with the bubble tea and skip on any of the frozen ice snacks. The frozen ice snacks can easily get you above $ 10 and you’re better off going to icy bar at metro. Oh, and remember to grab a stamp card!

the bad things are they not accept foreign credit cards and no separate bills. anyway I love the mango shaved ice, fresh mango BUT not very big as I excepted, it not worth $ 9 after tax.

Food: Super awesome shaved snow & mango/taro drink desserts Service: Prompt Price: ~$ 5 for teas, $ 5 – 7 for desserts, $ 9 – 11 or so for shaved snows Being from California, the pricing for milk tea, desserts and shaved snow in Canada took some adjustment. Luckily for us, the favorable exchange rate at least made the pricing digestible. Definitely a hidden gem. The mango and taro drink desserts are unique and use the freshest of ingredients. The shaved snow came in green tea, milk, and seasonal watermelon. You can choose from all kinds of delicious toppings that I hardly see in the san jose like: round rice balls, fresh taro, etc. Yum. My only regret is that we only got to enjoy twice.

i LOVE mango and anything that has mango in it. I have been on shaved ice/ice cream kick lately. With the weather very hot… better time than any to get on this trend. I had the mango shaved ice. Prices were reasonable, service was decent. There is ample seating, however, there are a lot of campers. There was no air conditioning. It wasn’t hot but you could feel the heat from the outside, therefore, the ice cream melted faster than anticipated. I still kept up with it. I haven’t tried their bubble tea yet. This is a cute hidden gem in an area that needs more cool shops like this in general.

This place is so good and I am so sad that I didn’t get to stay in Vancouver for come here over and over again. There was only one server when I came here on a day trip to Vancouver. In Chicago, there are no shaved snow places, other than Snow Dragon, but this place puts Snow Dragon to shame. I ordered the Mango Shaved Snow, which was mango over mango. Who doesn’t like mangoes? The mangoes were so sweet and juicy and were extremely fresh. The shaved snow was so fluffy and consistent in texture. Definitely try to find this place if you are in Vancouver. It is hidden between a residential area. I would seriously move to Vancouver(and in that area) just for this dessert place.

The term ‘hidden gem’ is very appropriate for this place. Its tucked away and you wouldn’t find it unless you were looking for it and its a very good find. Cute bubble tea shop that serves up tasty drinks and desserts. I like how it has a seasonal menu so its offerings change accordingly. Their mango drink is packed with fresh mango, milk teas are awesome, pearls so far have always been on point. Definitely the best bubble tea shop in the North Burnaby area. I plan on trying their shaved ice desserts next time I’m back in.

We just spent lovely afternoon at this hidden gem where the owners pride themselves on quality. They use real fruit menu and deserts are freshly made. I’ve searched high and low for a place that can serve delicious snow ice… yes snow ice and not shave ice. What is snow ice? It’s a cross between ice cream and the traditional shaved ice desserts(popular in Hawaii and Asia) topped with fruits, and other assorted yummies. Since we were there late afternoon, we focused on desert. There’s a cool electronic dart area in the front but we opt to sit in the back part of the restaurant which was cozy since we wanted to gab the afternoon away. We ordered four items off the menu — the mango juice snow ice with mocha balls, coconut jelly, pearls, mango jelly and a scope of match green tea ice cream. The portion size was large and generous with toppings. It was delicious, the soft ribbon of flavors burst in my mouth. It wasn’t too sweet and had great mango flavor. I can’t wait till mango is in season again so that it would be top with fresh mango… yum yum. We also ordered the match green tea snow ice with four different toppings + mango ice cream. Again, tantalizing and the match green tea was mildly bitter which meant it was authentic. Also had a latte and an Americano. Both cup of Joe had good body, aroma, and flavor. I’m picky about my coffees and was very impress that such delicious coffee was available here. If they were open at 6am, I would definitely be here for my morning coffee and pastry. Highly recommend and will be back again.

Best mango«anything» in town! Friendly staff and great atmosphere, so easy to get to from SFU. The electronics darts machines are pretty cool too for killing time!

For their location, I don’t complain. At first I was skeptical for ordering anything from them but after I tried their wontons, I got addicted to it and could eat it everyday. For the prince and the amount of wontons I get, I think it is reasonable. Their mango drink and matcha bbt are good.

The ambiance isn’t your typical asian bubble tea shop — it’s sort of hard to describe without coming to visit it yourself. It’s nestled in the brand new«Westridge Living» development, right near the bottom of SFU(just across from the Mountain Shadow Pub). It has a «cosy-yet-chic urban apartment vibe» while still mixing in Taiwanese /Japanese décor(the place is, after all named after the cherry blossoms that line the neighborhood streets around it) This place serves more than just bubble teas — they have a wide variety of specialty coffees, ice cream shakes, and desserts. Prices are surprisingly good value — these days you will probably pay more at the typical strip mall«Orange Julius», «Booster Juice», or «Pinkberry» than here, and yet get a much better/fresher drink or dessert to boot. Personally, we are hooked on their Matcha Matcha shake, iced coffees, and am waiting for the opportunity to try their Bacon Fudge shake(insert Homer Simpson«bacon… drool»). Their current fresh mango concoctions are awesome too. We even let the kids go wild here without feeling too bad — since many of their drinks use fresh fruit and frozen yogurt. We have come back several times already for our«dessert fix» — and their menu changes often — so definitely check back frequently if you do visit. With the grand spring weather we are having — the real cherry blossoms are in full effect, so snap some pics, and hit up Blossom teas afterwards for some refreshment and good eats. OR – if you’re just in the neighborhood for wings and beer, and have a hankering for dessert afterwards!

This is a hidden bubble tea, coffee and dessert shop located in a quiet neighbourhood near SFU. I tried the supreme mango drink and have found the closest knock off of my favourite mango drink at Bubble Queen. The slush was made of mango and tea. I can taste both and can tell it was from real mango and not the powdered stuff. It was amazing to have chucks of fresh mango to accompany my mango slush! No longer do I need to drive all the way to Richmond when I want to treat myself to an amazing mango bubble tea. This costed $ 5.95 plus tax. The ambiance is cute. It is more geared towards the university students with the darts games. There is limited seating.
