Estiatorio Skara

was not aware of this restaurant before our visit. had a gift certificate. great place. mind you we went on a Monday night it was very quiet. beautiful outdoor terrace. restaurant is on second floor. red snapper delicious. fried calamari excellent. house red wine very nice. desserts delicious as well. would/​will definitely go again.

Not your regular cheap Greek restaurant. They tried to upscale Greek and they succeeded to an extent but not worth the price. Had the chicken, the octopus both were good. The sides were expensive and you need to order sides if not you’ll just have whatever proteins you order. Sangria was good as well.
Worth to check out, too expensive IMO but you be the judge.

The food was fresh and very tasty. The cocktails were crafted with love and equally delicious! We had Fresh Oysters, and fried Calamari which were fantastic. I had Lamb Shank which was fall off the bone tender with a pasta aside that was very good. The Red Wine Sangria was very tasty and the Strawberry Mojito was made with love. :) I was very satisfied with the portion sizes and it was one of the best Mediterranean meals I have had in a long time! The waiter Esteban was very nice and attended to our every wish, and the hostess Katarina was great! I will definitely come back!

d’inspiration grecque, méditerranéenne.bel effort au niveau des vins, mais on n’est pas la pour les découvertes, donc le vin résine et l’ouzo sont absents. les entrées sont classiques, les plats et les desserts aussi. un certain manqué de fraicheur (bcp de produits congelés, m’a t il semble).en somme: des bémols quant à la nourriture, mais une visite

Estiatorio Skara: Food Fit for the Gods!
This restaurant came highly recommended from a friend, and did not disappoint. Estiatorio Skara is our new favorite restaurant.
From the appetizers all the way to dessert, the food was delicious. Everything was beautifully prepared, and tasted as appetizing as it looked.
We started with the Skara salad which consisted of baby arugula, red onions, cherry tomatoes topped with grilled halloumi cheese. The peppery essence and mustard quality of arugula combined with the strong savory taste of halloumi was mouth-​watering. We also tried the fried calamari served with pepperoncini mayo sauce — a perfect pairing. The pepperoncini sauce was mild with a slight heat, and a perfect hint of bitterness. The Skara zucchini and eggplant served with homemade tzatziki dip was cooked to perfection. Skara’s homemade tzatziki was flawless.
Did I mention the dessert? We had the baklava cheese cake. Yes, you read correctly! This was like nothing we have ever tried before. The cheese cake was rich and creamy, and was rippled with cinnamon-​walnut filling. The flaky filo layer on top provided a nice, satisfying crunch.
Everything on the menu is a fusion of old world /​new world culinary traditions.
Estiatorio Skara is a little piece of heaven with a beautiful ambiance. The food was simply incredible, the service exceptional, the décor warm and welcoming, and the music just feeds your soul.
Our dining experience was reminiscent of our travels to Greece.
