I’ve gone here a few times and it is not as good as other St. Hubert’s I’ve been to. The food doesn’t quite taste the same and the service is not that great either. If you’re in the Bromont area, try Mike’s or East Side Mario’s instead. FYI, this review is specifically about the st. Hubert in Bromont. Other st. Hubert’s are great :)

I can’t remember the last time I ate in a St. Hubert!!! And to my surprise it was pretty good. I like how they changed their menu and how they are going for a younger crowd! Trying to be on a diet I did not want to go for their regular chicken and fries so I went for their Provincial style Chicken with rice and veggies. It was good! I mean good. I would actually go back to St. Hubert for this meal. Décor of the rest was also up to date unlike thier traditional style resto’s. I musy say someone is doing their homework at head office. Service was fantastic, everyone serving us in english even if we spoke in french!!! Wow impressive.

Reliable. 4th year in a row stopped for dinner with numerous tired young kids in tow following full day at Granby Zoo. Each time restaurant seemed full yet we ft seated promptly and served reasonably well considering how busy. Staff friendly and attentive to fact that had young kid time bombs. Helps there’s a nice playground on front grass. Food is fine and decent variety for a chicken place. This is clearly a well run operation. Will stop again next year or sooner if driving the 10.

We like this St Hubert as it is a good & convienant place to stop off Auto Route 10 for lunch on our way too or from Montréal back to NH. I stick to what they do best, rotisserie chicken. LOVE the coleslaw here too! Adverage service and nice clean dining room.

Hungry after leaving downtown Montréal in 1.5 hours of afternoon rush hour traffic and windy side road diversions due to road construction to the main highway(Autoroute 10), we knew we’d arrive at our destination in BFE, Vermont way too late for any dining options. We had seen the St. Hubert logo all throughout Quebec ever since entered from Ontario although we had no idea what it was for at first(restaurant? Grocery? Laundromat?) We were hungry, tired, and — since neither of us could speak a lick of French — had run out of patience to vet out our dining options in French. So we gave into the continual sightings of the St. Hubert chicken logo and turned into the next restaurant we spotted just off the highway. This is a pretty good sized restaurant — at least the size of your average church activity hall — with tall, vaulted ceilings. Despite the size it still had a log cabin-like coziness to it. The name St. Hubert surely didn’t strike us Americans as having anything to do with chicken, but in Canada it does! This chicken franchise is just about as popular in Quebec as the KFC chain is just across the border and we could see why. They specialize mainly in rotisserie chicken dishes over fried chicken like what you may find on a Boston Market menu but, again, better! When in Rome… So we ordered selections off their rotisserie chicken dinner menu. The chicken was flavorful, delicious, not greasy or overcooked, and well-seasoned. Service was friendly although a bit slow because of the busy night. Very popular place! Overall, we enjoyed our meal and with full tummies could head back out on the highway toward points east. This location is definitely on our list as a place to stop and eat on our next transition on the east side of Montréal.

I had lunch today at this St-Hubert. There’s only one near where I live in Toronto but it’s out of my way … so we go to St. Hubs when we get to the Montréal area. The food was good. The half chicken was freakin’ huge! And the sauce is yummy! The service wasn’t all that great. I was at my table for a while before anyone acknowledged me. When I was served, I felt like I was always an afterthought.

First, a disclaimer: St. Hubert is my favorite restaurant on the face of the planet. Now, with that out of the way, it is pretty difficult to go wrong at St. Hubert. First, the soda is that magical kind of soda that is made with sugar cane instead of corn syrup(although this is true for just about all soda sold in Canada). Next, both the chicken noodle and chicken rice soup taste great. The main courses basically all involve chicken. My personal favorite is the chicken fingers(filet de poulet) with poutine(cheese + barbecue sauce on fries). The real winner at St. Hubert is the barbecue sauce they give you with the chicken, it is unlike any other sauce you will find in North America. It’s not thick and pasty like the stuff you’re used to seeing at steak restaurants. You dip your chicken in it, your fries and then your bun. Then when you’re done, you steal fries from other people at your table to dip in your remaining sauce. Last but not least, dessert. Cake with maple syrup sauce? Check. Sugar pie? Check. Best desserts around? Check, check. As a bonus, if you go to St. Hubert at the right time of day, they have something called the Table D’hote. Table D’hote means you get a meal(soup + drink + entrée + dessert) on the cheap. The food at St. Hubert is so good that I once skipped a free meal at a conference in Montréal to walk up the street to the local St. Hubert. Go there. And those of you in Canada, take pity on those of us stuck in Florida with no St. Hubert and send me some poutine!
