We have gone to this one and it is by far the worst ever Swiss Chalet. Everytime we go we have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to place a drink order. Twice in a row the food was wrong and missing something, by the time it arrived to us it was to late. The best is they bring salad with no dressing then make you wait 10 minutes for the dressing. This particular location has offered us 1 free meal for our hassles WENEVERUSEDIT. Went to this locations drive through one night and placed our order sat in a line of 5 cars after 16 minutes, we backed out and left. Every other Swiss Chalet we go to is perfect and we take the drive to Paris to avoid this location that is 5 minutes from us. Do not ever go it is not worth it at all.

Good food, really good price. The three of us can go and cost 50 bucks. The servers are usually friendly and the food is fresh. We go all the time, especially for takeout.

We took a trip to Swiss Chalet with family earlier in the month, we had not visited there before so we were looking forward to something new. The parking lot is barren with no trees for shade on the vehicles and the highway can be seen from all windows, there is literally nothing nice to look at. Inside; the decorations are so random, from dusty farm equipment to sports memorabilia, We don’t understand what this place is about! When you first walk into the restaurant, it feels all little too open. The reception area is huge for no reason and we were left without service as other waitresses walked right past us. The tables are set up in an awkward way, it’s a bad use of space and they didn’t let people sit on their patio. Their«6 person booth» is more of a 3 seater and for some reason it was very noisy considering there were not a lot of people, there’s just no privacy. The menu is interesting; there are a lot of choices if you like chicken but I wouldn’t go expecting any other type of meat. The online menu is actually much better than at the table, many pictures were missing and it looked like much less selection. Examine the pictures thoroughly though, they give you an accurate representation of the food available. If that toast is tiny in the picture, expect the tiniest toast you’ve ever received! We were surprised at the prices for most of the menu items, there’s not a lot of selection especially if you are looking for a good, hefty meal. Placing our meal did not seem complicated but our waitress could not remember anything. When we received our drinks, the waitress just shoved all the glasses to the centre of the table and told us she couldn’t remember which was which. They give you a mug the size of a Dixie cup for coffee. Our meals took forever to bring out, we had all finished our drinks before we even saw the waitress again. When the meals arrived, she once again could not remember who ordered what food. We were short one meal and when we asked her about it, we had to remind her what we ordered because she forgot that too. We don’t understand why she didn’t come over and ask us first, so we all could’ve ate together. The entire time we were there, the sun was coming in through the blinds and everyone in the restaurant was squinting. We have been in restaurants before that are obsessed about the blinds being closed, even our waitress couldn’t see and yet they remained open. This waitress was terrible, it took her forever to do minimal tasks and she would come over and ask two of us if we wanted refills when all of us had empty glasses. The linguine was tasty at first but everything was mushy and tasted the same so it got tiring very quickly. It is no joke about those tiny garlic breads, pretty sure Melba toasts are bigger. The actual meals were served on gigantic plates which does not help make the tiny portions look any bigger either. The flatbread tasted like a Pizza Pop; everything is just mushy and bland which must be why so many old people like this restaurant! Seeing what our family ordered was kind of sad; considering there were hungry men in our company, those meals were too small and they left still hungry. Our waitress returned and would take the plates away so inconsistently and without asking. She would say she would be right back but would first visit other tables, sweep the floor, take the debit machine to someone else and then would return which our simple request. It was like she was rushing for no reason, it was such an impersonal environment and it was as though there was no pride or personality to anything. Overall, Swiss Chalet was a letdown. I don’t like going to a restaurant and paying a lot, just to leave hungry and unsatisfied. If the service was better, we would have had a better experience. Swiss Chalet doesn’t even understand it’s own theme and when you research the company website«About us» page it further proves that this place has no personality, pride in ownership or respect for it’s patrons. Our recommendation is to go out and buy a whole BBQ chicken from a hot deli and you’ll get more satisfaction for your money than from going to Swiss Chalet. –Quick-RR Atmosphere: 6 Menu Selection: 7 Service: O Food Quality: 7 Overall Experience: 5 What we’ve ordered: Southwest Rotisserie Chicken Flatbread, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Spicy Chipotle Chicken Linguine, Garlic Toast
