Although this place has a very nice atmosphere we had a rough first experience. My boyfriend had ordered a «Mothers Meatloaf» hoping to get an old school good tasting meatloaf. Instead, it looked like a slab of canned dog food cut into a rectangle. He said it tasted bland, and just a bunch of meat mixed together. And the texture was not good. The potatoes tastes very much like onion and garlic barely tasted like potatoes. I had the macaroni & cheese which was good for the most part but not great. We did politely ask for a different meal, and my boyfriend had spaghetti with meat sauce which was very good. On the plus side, the waitress was really nice, we enjoyed 2 fuzzy peach drinks. And the prices are decent. And we where in an out in 45 min.

Came on a weekday for lunch with barely any customers yet all the staff crowded at a corner table as we waited 5mins to be seated, and another 15mins to order. Ridiculous wait times for being the only customers on one side of the restaurant. The waiter himself was friendly when he did come by but our table was getting annoyed as we had to listen to the staff taking breaks while we couldn’t even give our order. Mushroom madness pasta: enjoyed how it had a few different types of mushroom and lots of sauce to go with it. Meatball spaghetti: pasta was dry with limited sauce and the meatballs were dry, cold, and tasteless– very disappointing. Garlic bread: tasted soggy and dry and old. Thank goodness we didn’t order this as an appetizer and it was just a side! Salads: had the Caesar and Greek and both were great, with just the right amount of dressing and flavour. Price: we had the lunch special which was $ 10 for pasta, side and soft drink. Not bad for lunch but wished the meatball spaghetti was worth it.

I got the chance to try the poutine pizza, and yes it is as good as it sounds. You’ve got the poutine andy’s got some delicious pizza under it, and the result is a culinary marvel that I’ve yet to see at another restaurant… or maybe I don’t pay enough attention. I would come here for that dish alone.
