Hampton Inn & Suites By Hilton, Brantford

We had a wonderful time at the Hampton. The staff were extremely friendly, the beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and the rooms were spacious. The lounge area is very cozy with tables, a counter with ports for wired internet, and a fire place. The morning breakfast was standard but delightful, and we liked the coffee. We checked in and as a promotion received a free bottle of wine! (The woman at the front desk seemed confused when I showed her the promotion, but she looked at it and honored it. She was very sweet.)
They also offer a light complimentary dinner (including a glass of wine) Monday through Thursday. Definitely a great place to stay!

Hotel is brand new. Has a nice large reception area. The Manager’s reception was great. Started at six and lasted until nine. Free wine and beer and assorted meatballs, chips, and vegetables. It was enough for a late supper. I would definitely stay here again.

I spent the last two nights at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Brantford.
It was kind of out in the middle of nowhere … you have to drive to get to a restaurant.
My room was huge! I spent the extra $ 10 a night for a jacuzzi in my room. The room was $ 129/​night. The bed was comfy and I slept well. There was a mini fridge and microwave oven in my room. Parking was free as is WIFI (it’s fast). There was a complimentary continental breakfast with hot options (I grab some yogurt and an apple to go in the mornings). There is a salt water pool but I didn’t use it. There is no restaurant in the hotel and no options within walking distance.
Last evening there was a reception … free appies and drinks from 6pm to 8pm. It happens Monday to Thursday evenings. I checked it out. They set out bottles of wine, beer and pop along with veggies, chicken wings and pepperoni pizza (which I’m assuming they ordered from a nearby pizza place) and you helped yourself. I had enough wings and pizza that I didn’t need to have supper (I’d had a big lunch).
I liked the hotel, my room and the friendliness of the staff but I found it was a bit too isolated.
